There is a lot of confusion today on the subject of spiritual parenting. Here are some of the things people seem to be confused about and the questions that they ask.

1.What exactly is spiritual parenting?

2.Is a spiritual parent always someone who is much older than you?

3.Does a spiritual parent need to have been married and had children in order to be effective in parenting others spiritually?

4.Does the spiritual parent take the place of a natural parent?

5.Is there a difference between a spiritual father and a spiritual mother?

6.How should the spiritual child address their spiritual parent?

7.What qualifies someone to be a spiritual parent?

8.How do you find a spiritual parent and come under their care or influence?

9.What is an apostolic father?

I just want to look at one Scripture from 1 Corinthians 4:15 which says,

For you might have ten thousand mentors in Christ, but you do not have many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I fathered you by means of the gospel.

When we look at parenting, even in the natural what is it that makes parenting different and unique above any other kind of relationship and activity that takes place in life?

DNA is More Than Physical

Well you produce an offspring that has some of your characteristics. Scientists have given it a name and they call it DNA.

When you are conceived, you get DNA from both your mother and your father. It gets mixed up and you get your own unique combination of DNA.

The main characteristic of parenthood in the natural is a transmission of DNA. We can look at DNA, and if you have studied it, you have seen those little twirly pictures that they show. We think of it only in terms of physical DNA though.

You look at a child and you can see it has characteristics from its parents. But in recent times, those who have been studying it have been looking a bit deeper at DNA, and they have been trying to say that there is more to it than simply physical characteristics.

There are effects that seem to be passed down from parents to children. They can’t of course put it under a microscope to show you, because it involves something more than physical characteristics.

We get a hint though, that there is a bit more to DNA than simply something physical that we received from our parents. We seem to receive things that also affect us in other ways. They can even perhaps affect our behavior.

Not many scientists have really identified the truth concerning this. In this section you are going to be taught something that is not being taught elsewhere; something unique that I got by revelation from the Spirit of God.

You will learn that there are actually three different kinds of DNA, not just one. Each of these DNA’s has different characteristics and can be treated in different ways.

Teaching on Human Programming

Some years ago I produced a series which we have entitled Transform Your Life. I began that series by trying to teach people a bit about computer programming and I entitled it The Marvels of Human Programming.

I shared in there some of my computer programming experience, and a concept in programming that is known as OOP. It stands for Object Oriented Programming.

Object Oriented Programming is a modern form of computer programming which tries to get computer programs to become almost life-like and human. They produce something which is already natural to human nature.

And so I kicked off the series with an explanation of the marvels of human programming, which was based on computer programming. In there I began to introduce the first two kinds of DNA.

That first teaching covered a lot of ground and so did the rest of the series. It covered The Marvels of Human Programming, The Marvels of Spiritual DNA and The Mechanics of Change and Transformation among other things.

It was basically a whole teaching on how to identify the things in your life that need to get changed and how to go about changing them.

I taught it largely from a semi-secular business type of approach, although it was 100 percent based on Scripture. In this section I am going to give you the full second teaching from that series which is entitled The Marvels of Spiritual DNA.

I have also included part of the first teaching on The Marvels of Human Programming. This will give you a good understanding of the basics of the main part of this teaching.

This section will end on the introduction of spiritual parenting which will lead us directly into this subject. In the next lsection we will then move on from spiritual DNA into actual parenting, and parental replacement.

We will look at surrogate parenting and at the dangers of Parental Inversion. We will look at spiritual reproduction and spiritual parenting, and we will end by looking at apostolic parenting. After this we will look at relationships between spiritual parents and children.

This is a vast subject and you are going to be taught things that are just not available elsewhere. Few even understand this concept, so you will be a cut above everybody else by the time we are finished this.

You are training to be an apostle after all and we are going to set a standard for the new church.

The Marvels of Spiritual DNA is intense and deep, so don’t choke on it. You can always meditate on it and go through it again afterwards.

It is going to give us a good foundation. Then by the time we are finished this whole series on Spiritual Parenting, I think you will have a better understanding of exactly what it is, and you will probably understand the subject for the first time.
