I have been going through a lot of the materials we have produced since we first started GBM. And I have also been giving you some videos to go watch from back there.

We started out so great and had folks coming in from all over the world. But then it all started to die, and I longed for what we had back there. Many of you have been with us all the way and perhaps understand what I mean.

Two Levels of Training

We are dividing the schools into two levels now, and reviving a website we set up long ago called GBM Courses.

At the time the plan was to offer students an option to study just one subject at a time instead of a full curriculum. But then I was told to step away from training for a season and handed it all over to someone else.

The Lord led me to develop more of a ministry to all believers and not just the Fivefold. So my original plans for training were shelved and I let it all go for a several years.

This kind of teaching has always been my forte, but since I was told to set it aside, I stopped preaching from the pulpit and instead have done most of our teaching here on WhatsApp.

When I rewatched the teachings on allegories, I realized that I did not complete the curriculum. I planned to include the Business Apostles, but I did not think I would ever get back to that level of teaching, since the Lord told me to let it go for a season.

I was ready to do this and just concentrate on moving in the Spirit and more practical ministry in the supernatural. But my heart yearned to get back to some of that early kind of teaching.

I almost envied myself watching these old videos, and wondered if I could still do that. But then the Lord told me He was resurrecting my original vision.

Like Starting Again

So, in a sense, we are starting this ministry all over again from the beginning. But now we have years of experience to add to it.

This is also why I want to return to the concept of putting together complete courses on one subject. Some of these I may continue to do here on Whatsapp. But then I want to also return to preaching them all from the pulpit.

Weekly Sermons

We also hope to get back to normal Sunday preaches, where all of the GBM Team can get involved. These weekly preaches will continue to be made available to the public. But the courses will become part of our new training methods

They will only be available to students or on purchase by anyone who would like to do just one course at a time. This allows me to do all kinds of teaching courses on subjects I have never covered before.

This will include every practical teaching needed for all believers at all levels. The only subject I have little interest in is End Times Prophecy. But I might even get into that if led by the Lord.

I want our training to move away from an educational emphasis to something more practical. I want to show each one how to get going in their own calling and to set up their own ministry if they wish.

This was the original purpose of our ministry, and now we can carry it out both online and also in live classes again if there is enough interest from folks who live near us.

I also want to get more folks who have walked with us through the years to spend time mentoring and training some of the students. This will stand you in good stead should you decide to set up your own training schools as part of your ministry.

And if there is enough interest, we can also offer training for those who wish to become mentors and trainers.

Teaching What We Did

We would like to teach you how to do what we did over the years. We started out with nothing, stuck in a foreign land where we could not build a church. Yet we managed to put together a ministry that is reaching the nations using the internet.

And we can show you how to do it the way we did. Perhaps also, in time we may be able to build a normal local church here to use as a model to show you the right pattern.

Starting Ministry Online

It is never easy to start a new church or ministry locally. But the Internet has given us tools we can use to build something online.

We want to teach you how to do all of this without being dependent on us or any church organization, but we can give you a covering for protection and some form of recognition such as ordination or credentials.

The key to building a large organization has always lay in starting with small groups. Even an army is trained in squads, then platoons, before moving up to large groups.

Home Churches

So we want to encourage you to consider developing your own ministry and start in your home or the homes of others.

But then you should also move up to large groups, and you should learn how to stand up before a group to preach and teach.

You can also start practicing this online by using your computer or phone camera. This is how we began in Mexico, with only my family members there. I had a congregation of 6 people and an old video camera. But we produced videos we are still using today.

Video Blogs

I have shown how you can put a video up as a blog on my Apostles Desk website, and I will be putting together some complete courses teaching you how to do this yourself.

It is best done using a laptop, but you could also do a lot on a phone, and you could do it with your computer being your congregation.

It is more difficult when you are talking to a machine, but we will also show you how to use your phone camera to do this. We originally just used a room in our home, such as the living room, where we set up a camera and preached into it.

Today, you can use your smartphone for that. If you have family members or contacts who would like to join you, it makes it easier to speak with them present.

But you still speak to the camera as though there is a large group in there listening to you.

Course On Public Speaking

I will be doing a special course on public speaking and preaching so you can start practicing this.

In time, you may have some people you can invite to your home to hear you preach. And before you know it, you are running an official church in your home.

However, we do not want you to create in your home this kind of church at first.

You should rather start by having discussions with a small group of people, where everyone can get a chance to participate. Then, when you start leading folks to the Lord, you can invite them to your home meetings to integrate into a church situation

The emphasis will then be on fellowship and interacting together. Later, when you have a lot of folks attending home meetings, you can gather in a public place for a regular public church meeting.

In this way, you can easily become the pastor of your own church. Or, if you are more of a teacher, you could just set up training sessions for students.

In the past, we would take our video lectures and play them for the students rather than re-teach them live. After that, you can have a discussion and give students a chance to stand up and share what they learned.

This is how we ran our live class sessions here. We converted our double garage into a meeting hall and made our own pulpit.

So now we have a meeting hall right on our property that can hold up to 50 people seated.

It is more difficult if you have neighbors close by. So you should start with just discussions that are not too noisy, then find a hall you can use for public meetings.

Through your studies with us, you will qualify to become a leader and minister. And then you could build your own church or ministry this way.

Building A New Church System

Once you have learned from us the right way to do things, you will never again fit into the Status Quo church system, where you will never be given this opportunity.

So this is the purpose of our training. Not to make you into professionals but to show you how to take the Word and the Spirit and minister to people with it and build the Kingdom of God.

We have never looked for students who just want a qualification. Certificates can be printed by anyone and mean nothing.

But we want to impart to you all we have and build you into vessels that the Lord can use.

This was our original mandate, and it has not changed much over time - just expanded to include more people and situations.

Lila asked about woman preachers.

What determines the place of a woman is the leader of a church. Paul said in his writings, “I do not allow a woman to teach a man or usurp the authority of a man.”

You need to understand the context of what he was teaching. What he was saying was, “I will not allow a wife to be the teacher and master over her husband or usurp his authority.”

Our emphasis in GBM has always been on husbands and wives working together in ministry teams. So this would never happen under us.

But where there are unmarried women whom god raises up, we are happy to encourage them, provided they are ready to submit to our leadership and come under a spiritual or apostolic father.

Single women who have had bad experiences with men often rise up in leadership and try to dominate, to put themselves in an untouchable position.

We have placed many women into the highest level of the Apostle and given them opportunity to function in GBM.

We would prefer a woman to be married before being placed in Apostolic Office, but this is not always possible.

A woman, especially a wife, needs the covering of protection of a man - her husband. A single woman functioning as an apostle will need to be in submission under me as spiritual or apostolic father.

Then, she is free to function fully in her calling. But it is so much better when a husband and wife work together in the ministry.

Most status quo pastors have failed to accomplish this, so they do not encourage it.

I know what it is like to be married to someone who does not fully share your calling or passion. The Lord put Daphne and me together to be a model and show how this can be done. And part of our mandate is to help set up ministry couples, going right up to the Apostolic Level.

This is why, at the end of the day, although we provide a lot of teaching, our goal is not just to educate you on the truth. But we want to take you and mold you into instruments that the Lord can use.

So to conclude, the concept of women in leadership. Paul said, “I will not allow a woman to teach.” That was his prerogative as leader of his churches.

I, too, am a leader of our churches, and I say, “I will allow a woman to do anything that God has called her to do.”

But if you mess up, you will have me to deal with 😀 I am generally a nice guy, but I do also carry a sharp chisel.

In time, I will be giving detailed studies of many things with full teaching from the pulpit, and you will have access to full teachings on most subjects.

I think I have made it clear where we are headed. I can only add that we will wear ourselves out pouring into anyone who means business and is prepared to pay the price.

It will take a lot of hard work and valuable time for us to put this all together. But we do it gladly to bring out the chosen vessels of the Lord.

We will announce the new study courses website and the final structure of our schools. So keep your eyes and ears open.

We are getting geared to accelerate the engines and cut the ropes, tying us to the banks. So, to coin a phrase I have often used in the past.

Existing courses will continue, but we may add more materials. I will now be adding personal lecturers and trainers because I cannot handle too many students personally.

I will do a complete study on women's ministry, which will put all those difficult passages in perspective, ok?

I want to try and cover all subjects I have never taught before, and also clearly establish where we stand on these in GBM.

As long as we have enough students and partners to cover our living and running expenses, I can handle everything.

We still have to live, and this is our only income. Our book sales have never provided a significant income for us.

We will look for everything we have published in the past and try to put them all in one place ok? Then, I will keep adding new stuff.
