A person who stands up boldly and confidently says,

"I am not worried about me anymore. I know who I am. Do you know what? I am the greatest creation in this world. Look at me."

Paul said it. He said,

Follow me as I follow Christ.

When Peter stood with the man at the Beautiful Gate he said,

"Look at us. We have something to give you. We know who we are."

Stop wallowing in self-pity and call that humility, because it is not. Speak to yourself and say,

"Hey, you, you are destined to succeed. You are destined to conquer. You are a king and you should be reigning. Stop groveling and acting like a peasant."

Talk to yourself. Motivate and encourage yourself. Begin to change the way you behave and who you are.

Then you need to tap into the inner anointing, because you have dwelling within you the one who created the worlds. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you.

If your theology makes you think that every time you sin He is leaving, you need to revise your theology a bit. Jesus said,

I will never leave you or forsake you.

He is not concerned about sin. He already paid for it on Calvary.

He's paid for the sins you will commit tomorrow, next year and for the rest of your life. They are done, paid for and gone. They are of no concern to Him, so why should they be a concern to you?

Walk in the Spirit

The Holy Spirit is with you forever. When you invited Jesus into your heart, He came to stay. Now all you need to do to encourage Him and to release Him to work in your life is to make a choice.

The Bible calls that walking in the Spirit. It is not a feeling. You make a choice and you simply say,

"Lord Jesus I submit myself to you afresh. Holy Spirit please take control. I give everything to you."

As you submit to the Spirit within, you step into the Spirit. And now you can tap into everything.

We have learned in all the Way of Blessing principles that God has put into our spirits everything we will ever need. We have an underground stream inside that is flowing continuously. All you need to do is to stop, sink down that pipe and start pumping water, because it is gushing.

Jesus said, "He who believes on me, rivers of living water will gush out of him."

There will be a river of eternal life within that you can tap into.

Speak to Let the Power Out

How do you pump that water out? Firstly, you must sink it in. Submit to Him and then start using your mouth, because that is where the bucket is. That is where the pump is. Here are some ways that you can speak.

Pray in Tongues

What can you do with your mouth? You can start speaking in tongues. As you do that you are pumping water.

You have a big reservoir up in the heavenly realm, but it may be empty. You may have to pump for a while before it gets full. If you learn to pump every day you may keep it full and you will have a reserve supply all the time.

If you haven't done it for a long time you will probably be pumping for a few hours before you have any significant amount of water. So, pump for as long as it takes.

Praying in tongues for an hour is hard work. It's worse than running a marathon if you have never done it before. Try it but start small with five or 10 minutes a day.

Start speaking in tongues while you are driving in your car. Start tapping into that internal anointing and start pumping that water out.

Speak the Word

Confess the Scriptures. Memorize a few good Scripture promises and speak them repeatedly. Here are a few of my favorites.

If you remain in me and my rhema words remain in you, ask whatever you desire and it will be done for you.

The daughter of Tyre will be there with a gift. The rich among the people will entreat your favor.

I just quote these Scriptures repeatedly and the water starts to gush out. In fact the more Scripture you put in there, the wider the pipe gets and you just start tapping into the external anointing.

Have a Praise Session

Maybe you just need to start praising and saying,

"Hallelujah. Praise you Lord."

Sing a little bit because singing is a great pump. You can also sing in tongues. When we have our meetings and sing in tongues, we pump a lot of water and tap into that internal anointing.

You need to now get ready to release that creative power. Charge it up and wait until it is built up. Wait until that tank is full before you open the tap. And know that when the time is right, now is the time to release it.

Understanding Your Creative Power

You need to understand your creative power. Because if you don't understand this and you don't believe it, you will be waiting a long time for God to do something. The Scripture says,

Whatever you bind on earth has already been bound in heaven.

Until you do it there will be no effect in your life whatsoever. The authority lies in your hands. God has given you that authority and it has to be used.

How God Created

How did God do it? In the original creation, the Scripture says, "And God said, Let there be light," and there was light. God said, "Let this form," and it was formed. God said, "Let this be," and it was.

Every time God spoke, the Scripture says the Holy Spirit was brooding over the creation. And every time God spoke, the Holy Spirit moved and made it happen.

You see the two work together. When God made the worlds, He made them out of nothing. There was nothing there to start with. Hebrews 11:3 says,

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the [rhema] word of God, so that the things that are seen were not made from things that are visible.

God made the worlds out of nothing, and He put His Spirit and His nature into man. Then after He had created the worlds and He put His man Adam and His woman Eve in there, He said to them,

"Now have dominion over the earth and subdue it. You are in control now guys. You have my nature and I'm giving you a limited ability to create, just like I create."

You see it is in the nature of spirit to be creative. That is why men and women can create. We are always coming up with new inventions.

When was the last time your dog found a new way to bark? Yes you could teach him tricks, but he could never originate them. Man is coming up with new things all the time; things that have never been done before.

Why? Because man has a spirit in him. Man has the very nature of God in him.

How Man Can Create

You have the power to create, but your creative ability has limitations. Well how limited are we? Sometimes we think we are so limited that we have to pray,

"Lord, please will you do this. Lord, please will you create."

All our prayers are always,

"Lord, would you do this. Would you do that."

Sometimes I think God just stands there and says,

"Will they never get it? I've given them the ability to make everything they need. I've put into their spirits all the power and all the authority they will ever need."

Creating with Existing Materials

As human beings we have the ability to create. As believers we have even more of this ability. This is because we are restored into the image that Adam originally had, and even higher through Calvary and through the indwelling Holy Spirit.

However, we can't create something out of nothing. We have to take something in our hands and create using that material.

That is our only limitation. You must have something to start with. You see if you have a ball of clay you can create something out of it. But you can't create the ball of clay out of thin air. You can't do that. Only God can do that.

God has given you more than enough materials. And He has placed in your spirit all the materials you need to create anything you need in this world. The trouble is we are praying, hoping and waiting for God to do something.

But God is not going to do any more creating. He did His creation, and whatever He does now He will do through you.

If you don't step into the place and become that channel of creative ability, nothing will happen. Your life will continue the way it has been for the last 20, 30 or 40 years - however old you are.

Start With a Blueprint

How do you do this? You must firstly have a blueprint. We have covered this in some detail already. I told you how to make plans and how to visualize. The most important thing is that you write it down, otherwise you will forget it.

It is also good to journal and to tap into your spirit. As you seek the Lord, ask yourself,

"What is is that I really want? What is it that I really desire, and what is it that I believe God wants to do with me?"

But God will do whatever you desire, as long as it is not sin. Write it down and make a blueprint. You see there needs to be a blueprint before there can be a creation.

When God created the worlds, He had a picture in His mind. He said,

"Let there be plants that do this, this and this."

You see He knew in His mind what He wanted. He spoke the words and the Holy Spirit created it. So before you can make your creation, know very clearly what you are wanting.

You might say, "Lord I want some more money."

That is not a picture. Can you clearly see what it is that you desire? If you can't see it, you don't have a blueprint yet. If you are just hoping for the best, then you are hoping things will get better.

You might say,

"I hope I'm going to feel better and that we will get some more money. I hope some more people will be nice to me."

It is not going to happen. You must have a clear picture in your mind of what you want before you can create.

You see if you take that piece of clay and decide you will make it into something, you can make excuses like Aaron did. He said,

"I just took all the gold and threw it in the fire and this is what came out."

Liar! The Scripture says he specially fashioned it, carved it and shaped it.

You might say to me,

"I can't help it. This is what God did with my clay."

No, the clay is in your hands. Or you might say,

"I can't help it because God made me that way."

God didn't make you that way. You made you that way, or you allowed other people to make you that way. The choice is in your hands. Then once you have made your blueprint, give it to the Lord and make sure He approves of it.

Use Your Authority

Now is when you must start to assert your authority. The first thing you must do is to stand against the negatives and command them to bow.

Have you noticed how people who are under authority don't like to bow? Have you ever taken over a position of supervisor or suddenly risen up above other people? Isn't it amazing how they all suddenly jump and bow to you? Not a chance!

When I went into the army I didn't want to obey. I didn't want to salute every five minutes, but they made me do it. There was a price to pay. They barked out commands like,

"Hey you, stand up straight! Put your feet together. Act like a man."

You see authority has to be asserted. But maybe you say,

"God has given me the authority and suddenly everyone will bow."

I can tell you that Satan is not going to bow. He will challenge your authority every step of the way. Unless you learn to assert that authority, nothing will happen.

You might say, "I am waiting for the Lord to assert the authority."

Do you know how God asserted His authority? He put it in you and He is now waiting for you. He is saying,

"I have given it to you. Use it and just act like me."

How did He act? He said,

"You storm, peace be still!"

"Lazarus come forth!"

"Loose him and come out of him you demon."

He used his authority and you also need to know your authority. That is why I told you at the beginning that you need to know it. If you don't know your authority you will say gently and quietly,

"Hey demon, would you like to come out?"

"No he wouldn't like to come out."

"Please."

There is no such thing as please when you are dealing with demons. You can't be the nice guy. You will have to be the sergeant major and use your authority.

Stand Against the Negatives

You must command the negative to bow. The chances are you will have to repeat it a few times and say,

"I said you will bow! Didn't you hear me? I have authority over you."

The chances are he will come back and say,

"No you don't."

If he can convince you that you don't have authority, you may be used to bowing and you might say,

"Well maybe he is right. I don't feel very authoritative right now."

It has nothing to do with feelings, so you might say,

"I don't feel the anointing on me right now."

It has nothing to do with feelings. It has to do with authority, and it is a position. It is something that has been delegated to you. It is time you know who you are.

Speak the Positive

Once you have spoken to the negative, you must speak the positive. Romans 4:17 says,

God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things that are not as though they were.

God has put His nature into you, and He is telling you to do the same thing. He's telling you to speak life to what has died. He is telling you to command to be what doesn't exist right now.

That sounds like a creation to me, but there is a limitation. You must have materials to start with, and you must create using words.

You have to issue commands. And when you do that, you must release the power of the Spirit within to actually do the creation.

Do you see how they flow together? God spoke and said, "Let there be," and the Holy Spirit did it. We stand and say, "Let there be," and the Spirit and the anointing within you rises up and does it.

But we are so used to waiting for God to do it. We want some preacher who has a healing anointing to come and pray for me to be healed.

Have you noticed that most of the people who get healed with these healing evangelists are unbelievers? It is very easy to cast demons out of unbelievers. But you can't cast demons out of Christians, because only a Christian has the authority to do that. An unbeliever doesn't.

It is very easy to get unbelievers healed, because they need the power of God to heal them. But a Christian has the healing power in them already.

When God heals you as a Christian, even if some great man or woman of God has prayed for you, do you know where the healing comes from? You might say,

"As he laid his hands on me, the healing power of God came out of his hands into my body."

No, it didn't. It came out of your spirit into your body. Yes, for the unbeliever it happens like that because the unbeliever has nothing. That's why the only miraculous healings we see are when the preacher stands up, gets a revelation and says,

"There is somebody here today. God will do that for you."

But we sit and rely on the gift of faith, and the gift of miracles and healings.
