We have been watching the lessons at night instead of watching junk on TV

and I am really sparked afresh with the power of the series

I have told my story before but i want to remind you of the circumstances in which the original series was preached

We had been invited to go overseas by a relative who promised us great things financially

And at first he supported us each month while we were stuck in Mexico

Then suddenly he turned against us and cut off our monthly income

and we were left in a foreign land with no income

One of the things I tried to do to raise income was to preach into camera and then make audio tapes from the recordings

Which we then hoped to sell to the public at $4.00 per tape I think the going rate was at that time

But we did not have any real equipment to even make these

We would play the video recording and record that audio onto a little tape recorder

Then with two recorders connected together, we would make extra copies of a tape

and then had to put labels on them but we did not have a label printer

or real labels

So we printed onto normal paper, cut it out and glued it onto the tapes

This is how we began to try and create an income to live

Since we desperately needed to trust God for financial provision, I preached this series to help us build our own faith

and trust God to provide

All we had was a little camera we had bought and an old wireless microphone which was not the best quality

And we just set up a makeshift pulpit we made ourselves out of wood lying around

set it up in our living room and I began to preach into camera

You can see I often wore a floral shirt in front of a floral curtain

and an old plant that was there

And that is how our ministry started

We had to do something to try and create an income

We were in Mexico and the law was that you could not earn income in Mexico but had to bring in finance from outside

So we reached out. to the contacts we had made in the USA and other countries

Hoping to sell our audio tapes to make and income

I also hoped that by sending out emails with teaching folks would be prepared to support us with donations

But everyone claimed to have no money

So we began to preach some teachings on the Prophetic Ministry

and then suddenly some became interested

When we finally had 25 tapes in a series to provide, along with handmade printed folders, suddenly some of these people now had money

and so began our first prophetic school online

We needed some financial miracles so I began to preach a series based on some of the things God had been teaching me

And I decided to call it The Way of Blessing

Later, when I handed the ministry over to my eldest daughter, she took all my books with her and sold them for her own benefit, changing the who face of the ministry

When I tried to take back control of my own ministry my daughter and son in law refused as they were now using my materials to run their own ministry

So I decided to edit and republish my materials

And I changed the title to The New Way of Blessing. They were selling the original and I added some new materials and published a better version

But the original videos could not be repeated

They laid down the whole foundation

And even today, after I have learned so many new things, we still are using the originals

They contain a special anointing

The original teaching was split up into two books, because there were enough chapters to make two books

But later I add another new more practical section to the series

And we published a third book to the series

For 17 years we lived and survived in Mexico living and applying the principles in those teachings.

Until the time came when the Lord opened the way for us to return to our homeland

We have always considered the Way of Blessing our flagship

It was our starting point and the principles have worked for us so many times

Using them we not only survived in Mexico, but built up a lot of resources there

Eventually we had a binding machine to make our own books

and we made all our books in house

they were better quality than what you bought in the bookshops

Later we found we could publish them on Amazon and even have them print them on demand

But although the Way of Blessing was the. foundation of experiencing the blessing of God in life, and should have been a best seller, somehow it never sold that well

It was too complicated and folks wanted how to get rich in three easy steps

I was ready to let the series go and move on more with teachings on the Fivefold ministry

And I also added a newer concept called Tapping Your Inner Resources

But eventually I began to realize that the Way of Blessing still contains the best way to experience the blessing of the Lord for yourself personally

Whereas Tapping Your Inner resources led to the addition of ministry mantles, and how to tap the power of God for ministry to others

My original revelation of the WAy of Blessing came when I did a verse by verse study of the Book of Ephesians

It became my favority book and I learned to much by studing it in details

The first explosion took place when I read verse 3 of the first chapter

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in [the] heavenly [realm] in Christ: [GBMV]

In this verse I saw the the blessing of God was given in a once only act

not something to be repeated over and over again

It was a past tense - a special greek tense called the Aorist which refers to a once off action

He gave us all the blessings that are available in heaven

So the big question was, why do we ask God for blessing when He has already given it?

I realized that He has potentially already given us every blessing we will ever need

But it is called a spiritual blessing

Four Spiritual Laws

1. God has already blessed us

2. He has blessed us with every blessing heaven has to offer

3. These blessings were given spiritually

4. They can only be received in Christ

So they come when you receive Jesus as savior

The term spiritual blessings threw me at first

I need more than spiritual blessings

I need some tangible physical things in this lige

The Lord showed me that what this means is that the blessing were given in spiritual form

Then He showed me the power of spirit

All matter is made up on molecules - small pieces joined together

And molecules in turn are made up of the smallest piece of matter - atoms

But what are atoms made of?

They have shown that you can extract molecules and atoms

But if you go further and deeper all you get is pure energy

in the end all matter is made up of energy

Now what if you break down the energy further?

you will find out that matter was ultimately made out of spirit

Because of this, matter can contain spiritual essence

We all know the concept of how clothing from Paul was taken and laid on sick folks and they got healed

These days we still use prayer cloths

I have found that any object that spend times in close proximity to a person who is anointing, comes to contain some of that anointing

How can that be possible?

Because all matter is made up originally of spirit

When we read that God made everything out of nothing

that is not enrirely true

He made everything out of what He is - spirit

That is also why God can be present everywhere and in everything

So I presented what I considered standard laws of the Spirit

and we see these laws being used by God in creation

Here are the basic rules that always apply

1. Spirit is greater than the physical realm

2. Spiritual power is released using words

3. There must be a blueprint in the soul or the mind

4. The person who creates has full authority over their creation and can name it - the first evidence of copyright

Creation of Man

and when God spoke, that power went out to form the materials into something

This is not the original creation of Genesis 1:1

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

There is a gap between those two verses

The earth was not originally made without form and voia

We read that in another Scripture passage

Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD [Yahweh] that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he did not create it without form, but he framed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD [Yahweh]; and [there is] none else. [GBMV]

But something happened between verse 1 and 2 of Genesis

Some believe it links with the fall of lucifer from heaven

we are told that he was cast down to the earth

So the earth was likely originally his domain

but God judged the earth

and it became without form as we read in verse 2

So the creation of the earth was not the original creation, but a recreation

God took the materials that were already there and reformed them into something new

The story of creation is actually a wonderful allegory of the spiritual life.

I heard someone preach this once and also did so myself but I do not know what I did with that original teaching

The state of the earth is like a person outside of Christ - groping around in darkness

And when a person is born again a new creation takes place

It is a wonderful picture

So the creation from verse 2 of Genesis is a recreation

Which involves, not making somehting out of nothing

But taking what is already there and reforming it into something different

This is a creative ability that exists in spiritual inflluence

A spirit can take something that is there and make it into something new

When God blessed us with all spiritual blessings He put into us if you like, all the spiritual essence that is needed to create every blessing that heaven has

So what is it that you need?

Do you need healing or good health?

You have the spiritual essence to create this inside of you

Do you need financial provision? It is inside of you

Do you need favor with other people - good relationships?

The essence to create this is already inside of you since you were born again

And you can create these things in the same way that God recreated the earth

you can take the materials that are already available

and convert them into the blessing you need

You do not have the power to create something out of nothing - only God can do that

But if this is needed, you do also have the Spirit of God working with you who can do this

But God has placed your whole future into your own hands

He said that what you bind on earth will be bound in heaven

What you release on earth will be released in heaven

But what do we do?

We cry out to the Lord in prayer, begging Him give us what He already gave us

We pray and then expect God to create the things we asked

But He has put that power in your hands - well, actually in your spirit

Let’s see how God created

And when He did, the Holy Spirit moved in and made it happen

But with man it was different

With Adam He did two things

1. He made his body from the elements of the earth

2. He breathed His own life into that body

And a person was formed have a body, a spirit and a soul

in fact the third part - the soul became the main control tower in man

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD [Yahweh] God formed man [from] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [GBMV]

Often in SCripture a whole person is referred to as a soul

That is because the soul is the control tower, which combines the spirit and the body together

The soul is a vital part of our being

and we need to make use of it correctly to experience the blessing that was put into the spirit

We will learn later how to builld a template for the soul

Because what is in the spirit must be released outwards via the soul through the body into the world

There are in fact two ways that this power. can be released

The first is the one God used - words

The second was carried out by the Holy Spirit - action

When a person just stands there saying and doing nothing you have no idea of what is happening inside them

But the moment they speak, they reveal what is in their spirit

Word are amongs the most powerful forces in this world

They can be used to build up and destroy

That old saying is wrong which says, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me"

James tell us that the tongue is filled with poison that can destroy

but it can also be used to bless

But we have been trained by this world system under Satan to speak death rather than life

We use expressions like

It nearly killed me

I am scared to death

So often the first words that come out of our mouths are a curse rather than a blessing

and we wonder why there is no blessing in our lives

We will look later at how curses operate and you will find that they are often linked with words

The Scripture says that our tongues contain life or death

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. [KJV]

you may have asked, Why is the Lord not blessing me?

I am serving Him and praying to Him all the time

Yes but what is your mouth saying

Well it is just my luck, I will probably catch the covid19

We have negative expectations and reinforce these with our tongues

Do you know what you are doing?

You are telling your spirit to bring a curse on you and bad things

and your spirit often will obey willingly and make the very thing you do not want

Well there is a lot more involved than just speaking words

and we will be looking at this in a lot of detail

Let’s get back again the the power and authority of man

Man Has Full Control in the Earth

This right is given only to those parts of creation that have a body made from the earth and a spirit that comes from God.

Only mankind has both of these.

All the good things created by man that we use daily were made by humans

But humans have also created a lot of bad things

That is why the world is a mess - because God put man in charge of the earth

You muast grasp this truth and hold onto it if you wish to walk in blessing

Only a spirit living in physical body has this right and authority in the earth

The moment you die you lose you body and no longer have any ability to do anything in the earth

This is why demons seek to find someone in whom they can live

Then they take and use the power that is built into mankind

Before Satan could take control in the earth he had to persuade Adam and Eve to give him access.

They did this when they sinned

And we continue to do this every time we listen to his voice

And now every human being in the world make up a group known as “The World System” Which is controlled by and influenced by demon powers.

Another reason that the world is in a mess

Because Satan’s realm is a mess - He can only control his demons by force and with threats.

Something happens though When We are Born Again

The Holy Spirit comes to live inside us

Now we have access to God 24 hours a day

We now have far more than Adam had - he could only talk with God once a day

Jesus came to show us what we can be using both what we got from Adam and what we get directly from the Spirit of God

He told us that when He left we would do the same things as Him and even greater

His own disciples failed to do this

When they cried out in fear in the storm and woke Him up, He rebuked them for their lack of faith

Then, He showed them the authority they should have used by commanding the storm to be quiet.

The Great Commission

Before He ascdended to heaven he told all of His followers to go and preach the good news to the whole world

And He promised that they would do similar things to what He did

The key statement was-

These signs would follow those who believe

The word believe is key here because it links with an essential quality we need

That quality is Faith

It is the central most important force that comes from the spirit

Along with two other forces

and they all work together

Until you learn to harness the power of these spiritual forces

and then release them outwards into the world

they will lie dormant inside of you

And you will continue to cry out to the Lord to do something

Sometimes we think if we pray hard enough God will hear

Or we get as many other people to pray with us

perhaps many voices will get God’s attention

But in the end do you know what He will do?

He will point you to what he has already given you

Paul was facing a lot of spiritual attacks and he cried out to the Lord

asking God to take it away

2 Corinthians 12:8 For this thing I begged the Lord three times, that it might be removed from me. [GBMV]

But the Lord gave him a simple answer

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is brought to fullness through weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may reside upon me. [GBMV]

His grace is enough

All we need to do is learn how to use it

Everything you need is already there inside you

But few believers know how to use it correctly

So they go through life struggling with bad health, bad finances and no favor with others

Crying out to the Lord and begging Him to do something will not work

He will point you to His grace - the blessing He already freely gave you

It is there inside of you in spiritual essence

you have a hope for the future

and you hold in your hands ..er your spirit

all the resources you will ever need to break free

If you do not use them, you could die with them

you could go poor with them

you could remain in obscurity with them

This gives us all hope

It is the will of the Lord for us to live a life of blessing

If you are not, then it was never His will for you to suffer

It is your fault for not using what He gave you

I want the whole world - at least the Body of Christ to know about the way of blessing

It will enable all believers to rise up and claim their inheritance

The Lord has lit a fire in me now to spread this truth far and wide

I am even offereing it freely, so that those who cannot afford to puchase the materials can still get hold of it

I know that as you apply the principles and break through the financial abundance

you will be gladly invest some of that back into this ministry\

and show the world what God has given us as believers

So that they come running to us to find out how we did it

I personally am weary of struggling along trying to convince folks of these truths

I plan to make them work fully in my life now

so that everyone can see they are not just theory

but they work

Well this is an introduction to the Way of Blessing to get your stirred up and motivated

I plan to build up the momentum each week as we continue
