Firstly it is going to come out of this world, because everything you need is already here. God does not generally create anything more than what has already been created in the earth, although nothing is impossible to Him. 

He takes what is already here and forms it into what we want. And since it is going to come from this world, the chances are that it is going to come from people.

So although you are looking to the Lord for your financial provision, the answer is likely to come through man. 

God's Order of Blessing

God usually has an order that He follows through. When one believer invests in another believer there is the offer of a hundredfold return. 

When we invest in love by giving to a fellow believer, we transmute it into the heavenly realm, and we are promised a hundred times what we invested as a return.

God wants every one of us to have that opportunity to receive the best possible return. 

Through Family and Relatives

When you trust God for finances, He would prefer your financial provision to come from another believer first. If another believer invests in you, then God can also pour abundant blessing upon him or her. In this way you are both blessed. 

So when you start to trust God for finances you cry out,

"Oh Lord we are in desperate need. Father please provide for us."

Who do you suppose God speaks to first? He speaks to Christians first and He starts with believers who know you. Why? Because He wants to bless the people you love first. 

I remember when I first began to function in this. I had packed up my job and was waiting on the Lord alone for our financial provision. 

Most of our provision at the beginning came from some of our closer family and friends who knew our need. They would turn up at our door sometimes with a box of groceries or meat or some other basic essential. 

I complained to the Lord one day and said,

"Lord, this is not exactly a miracle of provision. I am trusting you to provide my need, but some of my family and friends are bringing the stuff.

That is not you providing, Lord. It's just them feeling sorry for me. Lord why are you letting them provide instead of doing it from elsewhere?" 

He said, "Because I want them to be blessed. Don't you want them to be blessed?" 

I said, "Yes Lord." 

He said, "Well I gave them the first opportunity to be your providers so that I could bless them also. Don't deny them that privilege.

Take it because they are being blessed in giving to you. Let them be blessed and give me a chance to bless them even more." 

Through Friends and Acquaintances

I found however that there were times when even those who were closest to me did not or could not respond, and it seemed there would be no financial provision. That was when the Lord showed me how He works in this. 

God always starts with those that are closest to you; preferably fellow believers. If they fail to respond for whatever reason He then moves the circle wider. He moves further afield upon people that are slightly more distant to you. 

He will begin to work in people that are perhaps just friends or acquaintances; those who do not know you so well but are still preferably fellow believers. 

When you begin to trust God for finances you will be amazed at who will call you on the phone or send you an email. It could be someone that you have not heard from in a long time. They will call you and say something like,

"How are you doing? We had you on our mind and thought we would give you a call." 

What made them think of you? If you could look into the spiritual realm, you would find that it was some of those angels doing their job.

They were starting to move further afield in your circle of influence and dropped a few thoughts in the minds of people that know you. They were probably just minding their own business and suddenly the thought came,

"When is the last time you heard from Les and them? Why don't you give them a call?" 

They likely responded,

"Oh yes I haven't thought of them in a long time. I wonder how they are doing. Let's give them a call." 

God is starting to get their attention. If you watch it you will see it. Folks that you do not hear from very often suddenly start to think about you and contact you. 

Through the World

The circle continues to widen while your need remains unmet. God begins to move further afield to people you have perhaps just met once. 

They could be people that you do not even know too well but have heard of you. They will still likely be Christians though, because God wants to bless the believer first. He gives a believer the first opportunity to provide financially for another believer. 

Finally as a last resort, if your need has not been met from the Body of Christ, God begins to move beyond that, and that is when He moves to the world. Now He will work with relatives, friends and acquaintances, business contacts and others that are not believers. 

Perhaps you have been trusting God for finances and there has been a slight stirring taking place. Maybe some of the folks close to you have been impressed to help which is wonderful. 

Perhaps you have found out that some of the folks close to you are not such good friends after all, and that is not so wonderful. But after a while you might notice that even with those that have responded, your needs have not been met. 

At that point many will give up their faith and stop trusting God for financial provision. But don't do it; the angels are still at work.

God is still working. He is now moving further afield, and sometimes you have to wait because of the disobedience of the people that He speaks to. 

You say, "Well why couldn't God just create it?" 

He is creating it, but He is doing it through people. Financial prosperity always involves people, and people are lazy, disobedient and take their time.

People do not realize the urgency of the situation. They are deaf. They are like dumb sheep sometimes, so do not become impatient with the Lord. Just hang in there. God is working.

It may not look like He has been doing anything, but He has been working behind the scenes and your guardian angel has been hard at work.

The angels of God have been moving and setting things up. They have been speaking to people, and creating circumstances and situations. 

The circle continues to grows wider and wider until God has to reach out into the world. It could take some time for things to be set up because He is dealing with people. 

In fact it is even worse in the world, because He is dealing with unbelieving people. But as you hang in there and continue to exercise your faith and trust the Lord; as you continue to exercise those principles of releasing into the earth, God begins to work. 

Then suddenly the whole plan begins to come together and you find finances coming from places you would never ever have dreamed of. 

You say, "Well why did it take so long?" 

Perhaps somebody disobeyed. The important thing is that God will not let you down. He will continue to work.

If you have made this a regular thing in your life; if you have continued to trust God and to invest and apply the principles, God will continually work on your behalf. He will continually approach people on your behalf and move upon them. 

The Wealth of the Egyptians

The Scripture says that when the Children of Israel left Egypt, God told them to borrow from the Egyptians. Egypt in the Scriptures is a picture of the world. 

When they left, they left with the wealth of Egypt. That is what they used to build the Tabernacle with. God plundered the Egyptians. 

Although God will use the Body of Christ initially to give to you, there is a host of wealth out there being held by the World System.

The wealth of the Egyptians of this world needs to be made available by the Body of Christ. That is why the Scripture says,

The wealth of the unjust will be handed over to the just.

Psalm 45:12 says: 

And the daughter of Tyre [will be there] with a gift; the rich among the people will entreat your favor.

Who is the daughter of Tyre? Tyre and Sidon were merchant cities. They were the center of commerce and industry. 

What is the Lord saying? He is saying He will give you favor in business. People will be clamoring for your trade and for your business. Even as you enter into the business realm, God is going to bless the work of your hands. 

You will have to invest in business before you can do it. But as you invest, He will prosper your investment and increase it, and cause you to prosper. 

The World System will try to squeeze you and to rob you, but 1 John 5:4 says: 

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith.

The God of this world does not want you to prosper as a believer, because he knows that you will use it for the Body of Christ.

He knows you will use it for the extension of the Kingdom of God. But Jesus conquered him on Calvary and took away his power. He said in John 16:33: 

These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

As unbelievers we were dominated by the World System. We were dominated by Satan, the Prince of the Power of the Air, by sin. We were in bondage. 

As children of the King we have been released. We have been brought up and exalted to be seated in heavenly places with the Lord; to triumph and have victory over the world. 

Taking God's Blessing With You

When you as a believer go into the world to work, you should therefore be getting more. You should be getting a higher salary. 

You should not be groveling to a worldly employer and seeing him as your source of financial provision. He should realize that he has been given the privilege of providing your needs, and you should lay it on him in the Spirit. 

Imagine telling your employer,

"Do you know how blessed you are to have me working for you?" 

I remember the last job I was in before I left to go into my own business. I had come out of a time of ministry training and God had told me to go back into secular employment.

He led me to take up employment with a very small company. And the month I joined that company, the Lord said to me,

"Because of you I'm going to bless this business this very month. From the moment you join this business, it is going to be blessed like it has never been blessed before." 

It turned out exactly as He had said. I was not really sure that it was a blessing though, because there was so much work to do the month that I started there that I could not cope with it. My boss said to me,

"This is the busiest January we have ever had. I don't understand what has happened." 

Well I knew what happened. The business kept pouring in from everywhere. He had more sales that month than he had ever had in the entire time he had been running the business, and he could not understand why. But I knew why. 

You are an asset to any business. You bring the blessing of God, and your employer should be seeing that. He should be seeing that since you have been there his business has been blessed. 

You should be blessing him too, not coming in every morning and saying,

"That miserable so and so; I wish he'd go bust." 

You should be carrying the blessing of God. Whatever your hand touches should prosper. If you work for a worldly boss, then his business should take off because of you.

Whatever you touch must prosper. Wherever you work, that business must improve. It must become a partaker of your blessing. That is the way God intended it to be.

Increasing Your Investment

When you invest money the return should increase. If you pour finance into an investment, then that investment should increase. If you buy a motor car it should last longer. 

Perhaps you are thinking,

"Now you're getting paranoid. You are getting foolish." 

Am I? The Children of Israel walked through the desert for 40 years, and their shoes and clothing did not wear out. That was part of the Old Covenant. 

The Scripture says we are under the New Covenant which is a greater Covenant. The blessing of God should be upon His people.

You should be walking in blessing. You should be overcoming the world, instead of getting squeezed into a corner, into poverty and despair and depression. 

But instead we often have the experience of not having enough food to put on the table. We are not able to clothe our families, and we are seeing the wealthy unbelievers out there prospering. We complain,

"Lord it's not fair. Everybody else is being blessed. Lord I've served you faithfully and I have not been blessed." 

Perhaps you have been sold a lie and believed it. Perhaps you have believed that as a Christian you have to suffer.

You are not supposed to think about things. You are not supposed to fight for your rights or expect a high salary. You are not supposed to go to your boss and say,

"I'm worth more to you than what you are paying me." 

It is foolish to take what the devil dishes out to you, instead of standing up as a child of the living God and saying,

"Hold it; this world was made for me, not for you guys. You are usurping my ground, now get off it. That is my land there, not yours. God gave it to me, and I'm just giving you the privilege of using it." 

Isn't that the way we should be as believers? It is time we rise up in authority instead of groveling to this World System. Jesus said,

This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

The Pharaoh of this world has to be conquered. We have to lay it on him, and he is going to fight just like he fought in the days of the Children of Israel. 

He is going to fight you tooth and nail. He is going to make you promises and pretend to let you go, then he is going to crunch you again. You will be tempted like the Children of Israel to say,

"Oh well maybe we should just not rock the boat. Let's just stay in our captivity and slavery."

But instead you should be rising up against him and refusing to take no for an answer. You must be firm and declare,

"I will not accept this. This is not what the Lord has for me. God has greater things for me. There is a Promised Land of blessing out there for me and I will settle for nothing less. I plan to go and take it." 

Which one are you going to be? Are you going to be one of those people who say,

"Well I work really hard. I can't understand why God's not blessing me." 

There are a lot of people who work hard. It is time you start believing hard. It is time you stand up for what you are as a child of the Lord.

It is time you realize that although your employer is your boss and you respect him as your boss, he is not your source of supply. 

Your source of supply is the Lord Himself, and He alone is your source. He alone is the one who provides your every need; who grants your every desire. 

Whoever He chooses to use to get it to you is irrelevant. But if you keep looking in the wrong place then you will keep getting discouraged. You should keep looking to the Lord. 

Taking the Land

You should be saying,

"Father my provision is coming; I believe it. In the name of Jesus I thank you, Father. My God has provided my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. It is mine.

As Joshua went and put his foot on the ground he said, 'Every place you put your foot, I have given it to you.' This land is my land. I'm putting my foot on it now." 

Just keep putting your foot on it. 

You say, "But there's somebody standing on the ground." 

Then kick him off. How do you think the Children of Israel took the Canaan land? Did they do it by standing there across the River Jordan and shouting?

"Hello, we're here." 

It was a fight. It wasn't handed to them on a platter. They had to go and kill them, rout them, chase them, burn them and drive them out. They put their foot on the land and put their flag up and said,

"This is mine. This is what God has given to me. Now I'm taking it." 

You will have to take the land otherwise it is not going to become yours. Let's rise up Body of Christ. Let's take what God has given us. Let's go and conquer this land and this world for the Lord. 

Let's conquer the wealth and the riches of this world for the Kingdom of God. Then instead of all that money being used to promote the devil and his kingdom, we can start using it to promote the Kingdom of God in the earth. 

Let's get souls saved. Let's get people healed, delivered and set free, and trained for the work of God. It is time the Body of Christ rose up and claimed their inheritance and stopped wallowing in poverty.

Let's start standing firm in the prosperity that the Lord has earned for us. 

The Scripture says concerning Jesus, that although he was rich, He became poor for our sakes in order that we could become rich. He gave up His throne to become an ordinary peasant, so that we peasants could become kings. 

Let's start reigning now because that is what He wants us to do.
