Tonight I want to speak about spiritual transmutation, or in practical terms, how to make withdrawals from your heavenly bank account. You can find the video and audio teaching on this page - the first lecture:

Why does it feel like we have not chatted in ages? I guess so much has been happening. Going through the Way of Blessing again after all these years has sparked off many things in me. Taking me back to important principles I once used but then I let them slip.

So tonight I want to speak about our heavenly bank account. When we ask the Lord for something, He always answers from heaven, and He sends down the answer from the heavenly realm.

Paul explained it to the Philippians like this:

Philippians 4:19 But my God will supply all your needs, coming down from his abundance in [the realm of] glory through Jesus the Anointed One. [GBMV]

I remember one of the first pictures He gave me in the beginning was seeing Jesus holding in His hands and giving to me the thing I had asked for.

The Lord told me that every believer has a bank account in the heavenly realm that got opened they day they were born again. And He already deposited into it everything we could ever need.

So when we come to Him to receive our needs, He simply tansfers our need out of our bank account in heaven.

Many have misunderstood why Jesus told the rich young man to sell what he had and give it to the poor.

Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said to him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. [GBMV]

When the disciples asked him about it he said the following:

Luke 18:29 And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake

30 Who will not receive manifold more in this present [kairos] time, and in the world to come [zoe] life everlasting. [GBMV]

Sowing A Seed

Luke 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit a hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear. [GBMV]

This has led to a concept in the church of sowing a seed into the work of the Lord. But it has been misused and taken to a limit, until believers have come to think that unless they give to the ministry, they cannot be blessed financially.

Many have given until it hurts, and they still have not entered into blessing.

Why is this? Because they have not been taught how the heavenly bank account works.

When we we living in Mexico we learned that if someone gave us a donation it has to be converted to Mexican pesos for us to make full use of it. Sure, many places accepted dollars, but if you put that money into a bank you would first have to convert it to pesos.

The Lord told me that the heavenly bank account has a currency of its own

you cannot deposit Dollars in it, or any other currency. If you listen to my song about your heavenly bank account you will learn this.

It is always faith, hope and love. This means before you try to make a deposit or withdrawal you must convert it into faith, hope and love or vice versa.

Since I first saw the Lord giving me what I had asked for, I then learned to deposit by placing my money into his hands and asking Him to deposit in my heavenly bank account. Now if you do not convert it to faith, hope and love it will not benefit you.

What does this mean? It means your motives must be pure in giving.

You give in faith, not because you have excess, but because you are trusting Him to replace what you deposited, and he offers up to 100 times return on your investment.

So every dollar becomes 100 dollars in your account.

Now this is not for your needs - He has already deposited that. It is for your desires. So you can safely make withdrawals, not just for needs, but for something you really desire - that new car, computer or even home.

But money cannot provide all our needs can it? Even the beatles had to admit in their singing, “Money can’t buy me love.”

And it is a known fact the even the wealthiest person cannot buy their health when they have a serious disease. So when it comes to making a withdrawal from our heavenly bank account we need to look beyond money.

Of course you can certainly withdraw money also. I have learned to bring my financial needs to the Lord and to make a request for provision. Usually I come up with a suitable figure that will provide what is needed or desired.

Often when I do that Lord tells me not to be a cheapskate but to ask for more. As I have returned to using the Way of Blessing, I have returned to doing this, because it always worked for me before.

I brought a figure to the Lord and asked for a withdrawal, and almost immediately someone sent us an unexpected donation. It was almost what I asked for but not all, so I made a note of the amount.

Then a little later we had another financial need and I made another withdrawal. I now added what was outstanding to the new amount, and reached out to the Lord.

Once I do this, I begin to plan as though the money is coming in, because it always does eventually. This took a bit longer, and then someone gave us a substantial donation that covered both the oustanding amount and the new amount. It covered exactly what I had asked for.

This has happened so many times now that I never doubt the Lord. I do not believe in making appeals to the people but I tell the Lord our needs. Then He speaks to those who are willing to give, because He wants to bless them also.

He usually starts with those close to us. If they fail to respond, then He moves further away. And we may suddenly get money from a new source or someone we have not had contact with for some time.

Of course the money can also come in through sales or new work that produces an income. We are more than ready to work for it. But we still see it coming from our heavenly bank account - the Lord never fails us and this Way of Blessing Principle works.

But you must make a withdrawal. As I taught in WOB if you had a large amount of money in your bank account, what are the chances your bank manager will visit you one day with a bag of money for you? But we expect the Lord to do this and we wait.

I remember the first time the Lord showed me this I was talking with Him and telling Him we had need for finances. He turned to me and asked, “How much do you need?” And I saw Him pull out His checkbook and make out a cheque for me.

Now I held in my hands what I had asked for. But it was not yet money in my hands. I had to go to the bank, identify myself and cash that cheque.

Spiritual Transmutation

This is a process I call Spiritual Transmutation, and I want to explain it to you. Some years ago, when the movie Star Trek first appeared, I was amazed at how they could transport someone by beaming them to another place.

The science behind it is that all matter can be converted to energy, like radio waves. This energy can then be transmitted easily to another location and then it could be converted back into matter once there.

Well, this is how your heavenly bank works. You have deposited the essential currency: faith, hope, and love. And now, to get some of it out, you must convert it back into a form you can use.

Usually, this is in the form of money. I found this easy to do because we can quantity money by specifying an amount. But there are other things we need and desire apart from money. The three main areas of life are wealth (money), health, and favor in relationships.

Now, if I have deposited faith, hope, and love and I need health, I can make a withdrawal of health rather than money. This is not so easy to quantify, though so we find it hard.

But when the Lord reminded me of this, I found a way to quantify what I wanted. You see, I battle to lose weight, and I know that just losing weight will fix most of my health problems.

So I decided to make a withdrawal of weight loss. And now, just as I wait for the money to come in once I withdrew, I am waiting for my weight to come down miraculously and for all my old shirts to fit me again.

I know that this will also affect my other health problems - like high sugar.

Some things fall outside the scope of this, like asking to grow taller. Give up height increase unless you are very young. I tried that one and lost 😀

I remember when we first let people see us online, someone said to me, “I thought you were much taller.” I replied, “I am, just not in my body.”

So now, you do not need to cry out to the Lord for healing or weight loss. Make a withdrawal and continue to confess that it is coming. Each day, expect things to get better.

Suddenly, your clothes will start fitting again. Of course, our other great need and desire lies in what people think of us, and our relationships in life.

Most of us have been taught to remain humble and not lift ourselves up. We must be happy to be nothing. But what does The Word say God promised His chosen people?

Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD [Yahweh] will make you the head, and not the tail; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath; if you listen attentively to the commandments of the LORD [Yahweh] your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do [them]: [GBMV]

God wanted them to be seen, popular, and famous. He told me once that until I am lifted up, people cannot see Him in me, so He can be lifted up. So now you can also make a withdrawal of what I call Favor. Call it fame, or respect, if you want.

The point is you do not need to remain hidden away in obscurity. I made a good withdrawal of this recently. I want to be known across the world. Not just so I can be lifted up, but so I can reach more people with the truths He has given me.

You know we should have the heart of a servant. But that does not mean you must become a servant. If you try that you will be treated like a servant. No, you must come as a leader with a servant's heart.

When Jesus got down to wash His disciples feet, He said to them,

“You call me Lord and Master, and you should.”

He remained Lord but showed the servants heart by washing their feet.

Sometimes we are too insecure to stand up and be what He made us to be. Jesus is known as the King of Kings. That means He is a king over other kings (and queens). Those kings and queens are us. We are meant to reign with Him in life

We do not need to grovel to the world. Because we are royalty. So take a good look at yourself and make a list of things you would like to draw out of your heavenly bank account.

Then, be bold in this, because you have a right to do it. And if you have sowed in faith, hope, and love, realize you have a big bank balance waiting for you to draw from.

Yet, but you cannot be humble until you are elevated to a higher position. Often, what we call humility is nothing more than insecurity. Jesus was not afraid to stand up and say, “Before Abraham was I AM.”

You are what He made you to be, and what you are in him.

(Someone said that Jesus walked in the clothing of a slave)

Nonsense, He only took on the form of a servant. He did not lack in finances because he had a treasurer.

Same with Paul - he was not so poor that he had to make tents to survive. He was so wealthy that a governor was hoping to get bribed by him.

Jesus was a rabbi and held a position of recognition. He said He had come to give life in abundance. But religious teaching has presented a kind of false humility or walking in poverty. When Peter needed money for tax, Jesus sent some fish with money in its mouth.

We have become so taken up with heaven one day, that we failed to realize He came to bring us heaven here on earth.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. [KJV]

The Gospel's good news was never a fire escape from hell to heaven. Jesus was the good news - in Him was eternal life and every blessing in the heavenly realm.

The Gospel is an offer of a full, abundant, eternal life. Not eternal existence one day in heaven after going without down here.

Quite honestly I do not care if there is no heaven. I am enjoying this life and He has made it worth it all. I already have Him with me now. I hear of people saying they look forward to seeing Him one day in heaven. I can do that right now - just close my eyes and reach out and touch Him.

This life should be filled with blessings and a taste of heaven to come, not an awful experience that we are waiting for Him to come and rescue us from. The priviledge we have to live in a body on this earth and enjoy all He created for us is something we fail to appreciate.

We complain about all the enemy brings at us and often are made to believe this is the will of God. Before we end tonight, I want to bring two principles together.

We have a heavenly Bank account from which we can draw everything in this life to improve it.

2. But we also have a kind of bank account inside of us. That is filled with His power. I refer to this as our inner spiritual resources and have taught that we should tap into those resources.

It is like a well deep inside of you from which you can draw. But many do not know how to tap into that power, just as they do not know how to make withdrawals from their bank.

That power is also contained in faith, hope, and love, and you can reach down into it any time and draw out the power you need. I spoke in previous lessons about breathing and getting the oxygen we need.

But breathing has become a subject that embraces body, soul, and spirit and Eastern teachers and advocates of Yoga have developed this into a spiritual force.

We do not want to get caught into their practices, but I have come to a simple way to combine your breathing with with tapping your inner resources, and I find it helps me visualize the power of God.

Imagine that there is deep inside you; a well of water and you can draw out of it any time, and then pour that water out to where it is needed. Like into your dry soul and even body.

Here is a simple way to do it without getting complicated. Breathe in and imagine you are sucking up water from the well within. Then breathe out and spray that water where it is needed.

If you have pain in your body, breathe out into that part of the body and see the power of God go there to heal. It takes as little effort as breathing

but it can help release your faith. And it also brings a deep peace inside, where you can relax and allow the Holy Spirit to work.

Do you know that in the original languages of the Bible, breath, wind, and spirit are the same word? So when you breathe in air, imagine you are breathing in spiritual power from deep inside your spirit. Then, let it out to where it is needed.

If you do this at night before bed you will quickly relax and fall asleep and leave everything in His hands. The external wind is a manifestation of the power of God, and sometimes comes when several believers combine what is in their spirit. But it can also be a sign that the Lord is anointing you for ministry.

I often feel this anointing like a shiver down my spine. I used to call it the external anointing. But it is a sign that the anointing has risen up from your spirit inside and is flowing out into your body.

Ok before we end, I just want to prepare you for something I have been working on and hope to bring into fuller focus soon. I have spent many years training the fivefold leaders but sometimes left out some basic teachings.

The Lord is calling me now to work with all believers and not only the leaders.

But the Word must always be our foundation. So I am hoping to move the GBM Bible to a new level. Where it covers all basic teachings and doctrines and contains my life’s work as a teacher.

I have started by working with my topics list in the bible. If you go there and select topics, you will see a list of topics I have already created. I want to expand these to cover most subjects and doctrines of the Bible and spiritual life

There is a link there for daily readings, which will allow you to read the whole Bible over time, with some parts being read more. Each day now I am going through the daily readings and translating sections that are not yet translated, and also adding comments where I want to share extra teaching.

I will copy and paste some of the original teachings from GBM Books into the topical references. Eventually, the GBM Bible will be a complete study bible containing everything you need to know about the spiritual life.

I suggest you use my daily readings as you read the Bible, and I will try to do them a day ahead, so that you can benefit from my studies as I go.
