Getting Good Feelings

There's one scripture to read, a very well-known one. You're probably going to hear this scripture over and over again until you can speak it out verbatim. Psalm 16, verse 11.

Psalms 16:11 You will make known to me the way to revival: in your presence there is joy that fully satisfies; at your right hand there are pleasures that last forever. [GBMV]

We human beings are very reliant on our feelings. In fact, we're willing to spend time and money on the things that make us feel good, take a priority in our life. And most of the activities that we carry out usually also are things that produce good feelings in us.

Different folks have different things that produce those good feelings. These good feelings are experienced first in our bodies via the nervous system that God has created, and then in our souls via the emotions.

Effect of Endorphins

And the major cause of some of these good feelings actually are substances that affect our bodies. Now, God has built into our bodies some natural chemicals to do this very thing. They're called endorphins.

What do endorphins do? Well, firstly, they're released in the brain under certain circumstances. But endorphins make you feel happy, and they reduce pain and stress. And there are different ways of producing these endorphins physically in our bodies.

I looked this up online to get the actual scientific facts here. Certain foods, like chocolate, produce endorphins. Oh, chocolate has that wonderful effect. Especially if you're a chocoholic.

Endorphins are also released during exercise, and sex. It seems music and laughing also also produce endorphins.

The more you laugh, the more endorphins you produce. One wonders why people don't laugh more to feel better, huh? But yes, some people still stick to chocolate. And some people love exercise and, well, who doesn't like sex? Now these are natural substances produced in our body.

Other Substances That Have Effects

Other natural substances have a very similar effect. The most common is alcohol, which is produced automatically by fermentation.

It's a naturally occurring substance that God actually has created. And the first person to ever discover it, it seems, was good old Noah. I guess there was no fermentation taking place in the Garden of Eden. Otherwise Adam and Eve would have known about this one.

They didn't seem to have known about it. But once God had destroyed the world by the flood and things changed, the canopies of the earth had come down, and there was a whole different atmosphere. The sun was shining brightly. A rainbow appeared for the first time. Things were different.

Grapes now, if they were left, began to ferment. And Noah was one of the first things that he did was plant a garden, and he had a vineyard. And I guess it was just a matter of time before he to discovered that you know, when you squeeze the juice of these grapes, and you leave it for a while, it changes its smell a little bit.

That's different. I wonder what it tastes like. And actually, it tastes pretty good. Maybe we'll stock up on some of this. Before long, he discovered something that he was not aware of fermented grape juice had another kind of effect on him, something he'd probably never experienced before.

And like everybody who first dabbles in a bit of drinking alcohol, the effect of the first alcohol gives you a lift, and you think that feels pretty good. I would like some more of that and some more of that and some more of that. And if you continue long enough, eventually, you end up like old Noah.

We use the term ‘motherless.’ Somebody who's plain out drunk. He lay there naked in his tent. He was totally drunk, and his sons came in and saw him naked. The one son mocked him, and the others covered him, but that's not where I want to go. The point is alcohol is a natural product that God created, and it can actually have a very good effect. A very similar effect to the endorphins of our body.

Effects of Alcohol

What are the effects of alcohol? Everybody has tried it, and I think most of us have tried it at least once. Some of us 100 or 1000 times, depending. Well one of the first effects that alcohol has is you lose your inhibitions. You're no longer concerned so much about what everybody thinks about you. You let go of your insecurities.

You get a little bit bolder and have a bit more confidence because you're in this euphoric state where nothing feels real, and you're escaping from reality. It's a beautiful feeling. Very similar to the strong feeling of endorphins in the body.

And so alcohol is a substance that we can put into our bodies that will create that feeling of happiness, of temporary happiness. It's a good feeling, and that is why alcohol has become such a big problem. Because it's produced now as a product, people are taking it to escape life's problems, and they become addicted to it.

Synthetic Substances

Now, there are some unnatural substances. They're synthetic and probably the first thing they try to do is to duplicate some of the natural endorphins that are created in the body. They make them into some chemical that you can take from the outside.

These became known as drugs, and there are two major kinds of drugs. Some drugs relax and relieve pain. They tranquilize you and make you feel good, so everything's great. The whole world's a lovely place.

And then there are those that boost you and give you super energy. Of course, we know that sports people love to get their hands on these to give them extra performance ability in their sports activities. Now, the problem with all of these substances is that when we use them to escape life's problems, we become dependent on them. And so we have a drug addiction. We have an alcohol addiction.

In general terms, they call it ‘substance’ addiction, and the problem is that we try to deal a lot of the time with needs within ourselves, which are emotional and spiritual. We try to deal with them outwardly with the effects on our bodies. Now the greatest effect that we can bring to our body comes via spiritual power.

There's a power of spirit over the body, and if we would allow our spirits, which God created in his image, to have a greater influence on us, we could have a far greater effect than these substances. People take them to try and escape the problems of life, to make life worth living, and to bring happiness.

The Problem With Drugs and Alcohol

But it's false happiness, especially where something like alcohol is concerned. Because when it wears off, to the same degree you got happiness, you will get unhappiness. You're going to get pain in the head as you have a hangover and so many other effects, and drugs also have these after-effects, which are not very good for us at all.

Now part of the problem when we start using these things to meet spiritual needs is we open a door to the spiritual realm. We have in this earth and in the air around us hordes and hordes of fallen angels known as demons. They are working in the realm of darkness to promote satan's agenda. And they want us, instead of going to God to have our needs met, to come under bondage.

And so you will find that in virtually every case where somebody becomes in bondage or in addiction to either alcohol or drugs, it becomes an open door to a demonic power. And most people who become drug addicts inevitably become demonized and controlled by demon powers.

Of course, Satan loves that because when you're high on drugs, and you begin to lose a bit of control of your own will, the demons can more easily influence you to sin and to carry out their will. So, although this may make you feel good, there's a price to pay. There's always a price tag that comes afterward.

Effects of the Holy Spirit

Now, we don't need demon powers to enhance the spiritual effects that can create joy and happiness in us. We have God's Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Unbelievers don't have that, and that's why we need to present the gospel and let them know that there is a better way.

You can't help somebody to overcome alcohol by sending them to Alcoholics Anonymous or to some drug rehabilitation center. They need the Holy Spirit. They need to get saved so that the Holy Spirit can come and take up residence inside of them.

Now, the Holy Spirit also affects your nervous system. God works first through your human spirit, which can affect your nervous system because your spirit actually produces the life in your body. When your spirit leaves, your body dies. So, your spirit actually has the power to influence your nervous system, and what do you suppose it does? It releases endorphins.

God made those endorphins. Don't forget that. He made them. He made them there for us to enjoy so that we can handle the stresses in life and we can feel good. The power of, firstly, the human spirit submitted to God will cause an influence in your body that can release those endorphins naturally.

The Fruit Of The Spirit

One of the strongest effects of good feelings is what the Bible calls the fruit of the spirit. Love, joy, peace. Isn't it wonderful to feel in love? Isn't it awesome to be filled with joy? Isn't it great just to have peace deep within, instead of stress, care, and worry?

Now, all of these things come as the Holy Spirit works through our spirits to release these effects into our bodies. But the Holy Spirit has actually more than that because we have an additional experience of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the spirit is produced by what we call God's internal working or internal anointing.

The External Anointing

When the Holy Spirit comes upon us in what we call the external anointing, we get a taste of heaven—but we get something far more powerful. We get something that's better than alcohol or drugs, and believe it or not, we get something that feels better than sex. All comes from God's external anointing, and you get to experience that awesome feeling of his anointing upon you.

Let me tell you, none of these things that are natural to the body and that we enjoy as human beings can compare with the awesomeness of God's power and anointing upon us.

Sometimes, that effect is so strong that people can't even stand, and they fall in the presence of God. This has been happening since God first began to manifest his presence.

Now, God as the Father, the Bible says no man has seen him at any time. God hides away, and he hides in a cloud. We see this originally when God manifested himself to the nation of Israel. He gave them a little device called the ark of the covenant on which his presence would stay.

And when they brought that ark into the early tabernacle, a cloud came down over the tabernacle. During the day, it looked like a pillar of cloud, and at night, it looked like a pillar of fire.

The Glory Cloud

Now, that cloud is the hiding place of God's glory. He hides it in that cloud. The first time they brought the ark into that holy place where it was meant to live, it says the cloud came down. And the effect was so strong that it affected all the priests who were in that place.

You read about it in 1 Kings 8.

1 Kings 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD [Yahweh],

11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD [Yahweh] had filled the house of the LORD [Yahweh]. [GBMV]

When God's glory comes from the cloud our bodies can't even stand in his presence because it's so powerful. Would you like to get in the cloud? Would you like to experience his presence? Well, the main thrust of this teaching is to show you how to get there.

I'd like to show you how to enter that cloud of God's presence. One of the main instruments God's given us to do that is music. Music is a very powerful force. When King David brought the ark back, he instituted music to be played continually around it, which represented the presence of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 5:13 And as the trumpeters and singers stood as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD [Yahweh]; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD [Yahweh], [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endures] for ever: that [then] the house of the Lord [Yahweh] was filled with a cloud, ;

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister in the presence of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD [Yahweh] had filled the house of God. [GBMV]

Music Brings The Cloud

Just the music alone brought the cloud of God's presence so strong. And once again, everybody fell on their face before the glory of the Lord. Now, God's glory is an amazing, powerful thing. If we can tap into it and unleash its power, God can do amazing things.

King Jehoshaphat discovered that when he went out to battle, instead of sending out the big, strong soldiers, he sent the singers to go ahead before the army to praise the Lord and to worship him with music.

It says that when they began to sing and praise the Lord, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Amon Moab and Mount Seir, and they were struck. God's power is released through music, praise, and worship. Music brings the anointing that you need to carry out a ministry that God may have given you.

Elisha Used Music

Now, we see an example with the prophet Elisha. He needs to prophesy; he needs to give the king a message, but he's not quite in the spirit right now to receive it.

2 Kings 3:15 But now bring me a musician. And what happened was that when the musician played, the hand of the LORD [Yahweh] came upon him. [GBMV]

Just the music alone helped Elisha get into the cloud, and the anointing came on him, and he began to prophesy, and God used him. If you want to be used by God in ministry, you cannot do it without that glory and power. You need the cloud of his presence.

Now, God lives in music. The Bible tells us when God created, the morning stars were singing. God has created three different groups of angels that I've seen identified in scripture, and one of those groups is the worship angels.

They're the only angels that actually have wings. People always see visions of angels with wings, but in reality, most of the angels you're likely to see (and I'm not talking about seeing physically; I'm talking about seeing in the spirit) will probably be more of the other category, which does not have wings.

Role of Worship Angels

But God has created worship angels to sing around the clock in his presence. Someone captured the sound of angels singing. I don't know how it happened, but somehow, they made a recording of worship, and the recording was overlaid with the sound of angelic voices.

I don't need to rely on that because I hear them often in the spirit myself when we're in praise and worship. If you have the gift of discerning spirits, where you can see angels and demons, you are quite capable of actually entering into and hearing and listening carefully, and you can hear the worship angels singing. They come to help us enter into worship, and they bring God's presence during our time of worship.

One of the things that somebody remarked on from the recording of angels singing was that the angels never take a breath. You know, we sing, we take a breath, and we sing the next line. It may just be momentary, but we take a breath. We have to because our breath is not enough to keep going. But the angels don't take breaths because they're not singing like we are.

The sound of angelic singing is a continual, uninterrupted note. There's no interruption of singing or worship in the heavenly realm. The angels sing continuously. If you want to experience the presence of God and his glory, and if you want to enter into the cloud, you don’t need to go somewhere where somebody else brought the cloud. You don't need to pray and hope that God will bring his cloud into a meeting today. You actually are quite capable of entering into the cloud.

The first person who did that was Moses when God's cloud came down on the mountain and called him up into the mountain. After that, the cloud came down on the Tabernacle. The priests could go in, and they would end up in the cloud, but of course, they just fell once they did that. We can enter the presence of the Lord through worship and praise.

Most Important Part Of a Meeting

Do you realize that the most important part of a meeting is the first part of praise and worship? And its purpose is to bring us into the presence of the Lord before the word is ministered. Unfortunately, in modern times, it's lost its power.

Today, it’s no different from the world, and the praise group is an entertainment group of professional singers who are there to sing very nice for us and to entertain us as a curtain raiser to the preaching of the word.

That's really all it is. We've lost the vital importance of praise and worship in bringing us, not only to the throne but into the very cloud of his presence.

Now, how do we get there? How do we move from where we are to come into that place where we stand in the very cloud of his glory, and is it possible? Well, it's not only possible, but it's also advisable, and it should be taking place if you know how to do that.

Now, the beauty of this is that you don't necessarily have to be in a church meeting for this to take place. You don't have to be sitting there taking part in the praise and worship. And actually, you don't even need to be up there being part of the praise group.

You can do this all on your own in your private closet, and you can do it anytime you like. But you can't do it without music. Well, I stand to correction there. I believe there are times when God will bring us into his cloud for the purpose of ministry, and sometimes, it can even happen while you're preaching. But music is the most powerful way of doing it.

Developing Relationship With God

Now, as I began to look to the Lord to find out how to do this, he reminded me of several stages and training that he's taken me through in the past. One of my earliest real supernatural experiences with the Lord was when the Lord Jesus first appeared to me, and I entered into a loving fellowship and relationship with him.

I used to have wonderful times in his presence and experience his love in an amazing way, but it didn't take me to the cloud. It just took me into his loving presence, and for many years, that was enough for me.

Until I realized that if I'm going to move into God's power, I'm going to need more than a relationship with the loving Jesus, who is represented to us as the Comforter. Jesus promised He would come and take His place on the earth because Jesus no longer walks this earth as the Comforter.

Experiencing His Power

He's risen to the heavenly realm and seated on the throne. He's the risen, ascended Christ, and he stands now in power. If you want to experience the power of God, it's not enough to have just a relationship with Jesus as the Comforter.

You've got to have a relationship with him as the risen Lord, and now he appears in a very different way. The apostle John, amongst the other disciples, had a close fellowship with Jesus. John was the one who was always lying on his chest very close.

But on the isle of Patmos, when John first saw Jesus in his ascended risen state, in his full power, it was so awesome that John couldn't even stand. He went under the power and fell at his feet as dead. But it was the same Jesus, only now he was the risen Christ.

So, as I began to move beyond just the loving fellowship of the Lord, worship, and hearing his voice. He'd give me a revelation, and I could even flow in prophetic revelation with that anointing.

When it came to manifesting God's power, especially supernatural power like healing, I needed to have a relationship with the risen Christ. And he appeared as a brightly glowing being, not just the loving, tender Jesus. He was the same person but a different manifestation.

I realized that I needed to move beyond fellowship in the Spirit with him to tap into his power. In due course, he brought me into the presence of the Father. When I came to the presence of the Father, I wanted to fall on my face before him because I felt so unworthy.

So, I began to experience God in many different ways. I would experience his tender love as the Comforter, his power as the risen Christ, and a sense of awe that comes with the presence of the Father.

Stages of Spiritual Experience

Now, as I came to enter into worship and to experience the Lord in worship, it changed. I found that for so many years in my relationship with the Comforter, I could come and enjoy him and praise him. I could tell him that I loved him, and that was a wonderful experience in worship, but the Lord showed me that that was only stage one of where I could go.

Many people haven't even reached stage one. To them, worship is just entertainment because they like music. But when you enter into a fellowship with the Lord, your beginning of praise becomes something real because you really love him. You want to tell him that you love him, and you praise him.

Stage 2 - Worship

But then there comes a higher experience, where you begin to enter into something more powerful. This is a transition from praise into worship. It's a second phase you enter during your time of singing, and they're very distinct. I wasn't sure how to get into these stages at first. I remember at that time I was sitting playing at the piano for worship, and I would see Jesus sitting there.

He's so lovely, beautiful, and loving, and I would find myself just pouring out in love to him. Then suddenly, he would change, and there he stood in his brightness as the risen Christ.

I found that immediately, my worship changed. It became more intense and focused as I saw him seated on the throne of heaven, and I began to worship him. It's a second level of worship, and many people don't even reach that stage.

But it's not the final stage, you see, because there are three members of the Godhead: the Holy Spirit, the Son, and the Father. The Holy Spirit presents Jesus to us as the Comforter. Jesus, the risen Christ, the son of God, brings the power.

Stage 3 - The Glory

But if you come into the full relationship now with all three, and you come into the presence of the Father, that's when you're going to enter into the cloud and experience his glory. You'll notice that most of the time when we sing, we start off with some lively songs that stir you, and they are praise songs.

When we're doing that, we are actually flowing with the Comforter. Then there comes a transition, where we move from praise into a more focused worship of him. And as you worship him, if you continue, you will feel yourself being lifted up as though you are coming off the ground. You'll feel yourself entering into a new realm, and it's like getting drunk. It's like getting high.

You'll find that everything seems to get hazy. If you look carefully, you'll see you're in a cloud. It's like when you fly through the clouds in a plane. Everything's hazy; you can't see anything except mist. Well, that's what it's like when entering that realm of glory.

Now you're in the clouds, and you're in the very presence of the Father himself. God's glory is upon you, and his anointing is upon you, and now you can do amazing things. If you're a preacher, you're now able to stand up and stand in that glory and minister with the power of God.

If you stood during one of the early phases, you might be a pretty good preacher and impress the people, but there's something missing. Have you noticed some people, when they preach, speak with wonderful words? They may even be very skilled as speakers. But there's a little something missing. You can't quite put your finger on it. He sounds friendly, he's speaking clearly, he's speaking sense, but there's something missing.

The Anointing Makes a Big Difference

That's the anointing of God. What makes the difference is whatever realm of anointing that person moved into before they stood up to preach. Now, hopefully, the preacher doesn't wait for the worship time to get there. He should have walked in the door in that place already, and he should be there, moving with the people as they were moved through worship through those stages.

If you are the worship leader, your job is to bring the people from there into the cloud of his presence. It's up to you to bring the cloud into the meeting so that other people can experience it. And when you experience it, you will have an experience that the Bible calls being filled with the Spirit.

You don't see that expression very often, but you see that every time it's mentioned, somebody is actually really full of power. Paul stands full of the spirit, and he strikes the sorcerer with blindness. Peter stands there and commands Ananias and Sapphira to die. It's powerful stuff.

Effects of Being Filled With The Spirit

When you get filled with the Spirit, you're actually in a different kind of a place. And if you watch some of these big preachers these days and in days gone by, they wait for that anointing to come. Most of the time, they'll do it through song.

Katherine Kuhlmann was one of the first to do that. She would not move in her ministry until the worship had come to the place where it was ready. Today, Benny Hinn does the same thing. He'll sing for hours if he has to, and then once that place comes, he becomes a different kind of person.

Sometimes, he's not even a nice guy anymore. He becomes quite aggressive. In fact, I would say he looks like he's drunk because he is, in the spirit. He's under the influence, he loses his inhibitions, and the same thing will happen to you.

If you learn to move into that place, you'll have the boldness not to care what people think. You'll have the boldness to say, I will pray for you, and God will heal you.

It's amazing the boldness you get when you're drunk. In days gone by, when I had a few drinks, I would sometimes get very preachy. I'd have the boldness to share the word with somebody.

Sometimes, we need that as weak, frail, insecure human beings. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to make us drunk so we can lose our inhibitions and stand up and be bold for God. Are you going to wait for it to happen, plead, and pray for God to give it to you? All you need to do is go through those transitions.

Music A Powerful Force

Start with music; make music a very important part of your life. Maybe it isn't an important part of your life, and you only listen to songs. But none of those recordings that you get will ever take you to that place. It's your own personal praise and worship that's going to do that. I find it very powerful to use a musical instrument like a piano or a guitar while you're doing it.

I find that way, I can transition very quickly, and I've been practicing it now. I can get there much quicker than I used to. But until I realized that there was such a thing, I would play and sing, and sometimes, I felt the anointing. Isn't it great that God blessed me with the anointing today?

Until the Lord said to me, it's your choice, not mine. You must choose to enter into it. The moment I tried it, something amazing happened. I found myself moving into a new realm; I found myself making up songs and singing anointed songs in the spirit.

I've even recorded some of those and put them into songs so we can re-sing them. It's very powerful to do that. You must experience each member of the Godhead, and for me, it is easy to visualize.

I see the loving Jesus sitting there with a smile on his face, and I'm praising him. Then I see the transition as he becomes the risen Christ, and I know I'm moving into something more powerful. Then I sense that awe as we come before the Father on his throne, and it's like the air becomes thick. It's like there's a silence, like you can hear a pin drop. You know you're in the holy presence of the Father himself.

Well, in the first stage, you can sing loud, you can sing lively songs, and then you begin to transition. The songs slow down a bit and become more worship-oriented. In the end, sometimes you don't even need to sing; you stand in his presence. Sometimes, you feel you could stand there all day because it's such a wonderful feeling—it's like being high as you experience the wonder of his presence.

You Can Make It Happen

Folks, this isn't just a little event that happens once in a lifetime. It isn't something that only happens when you go and visit certain meetings. In days gone by, they used to hold tent meetings, and people would go there to experience the power of God through some healing evangelist. God wants to move upon every single believer today. He wants to use you, and he wants to take you into that place, into his very presence.

It has nothing to do with your spiritual level or your ministry level; it's available to you. But I'll tell you, if you want to be used by God and move into those higher-level ministries, you better learn to tap into that power. You can start doing that right now, in your own private prayer time.

Come into his presence, come before Jesus as the Comforter, and tell him how much you love him. Just praise him and tell him how wonderful he is. Then, ask Him to manifest Himself to you in his power. And he will bring you into that secret place in the presence of the Father himself. Then, you begin to get a touch of his glory.

True Conviction

I don't think of conviction as the Lord reminding you of all your sins, and I want to say this before we end. In the Old Testament, people didn't know what sin was. God gave the Law, and once he gave the Law, people knew that when they broke it, they had sinned.

The Bible says that Jesus abolished the Law on the cross of Calvary. None of those laws apply to us anymore, so God will not convict you of sin by pointing out all your little failures and all the things you did wrong.

All those “thou shalt nots” of the commandments, Jesus changed. He said I'm giving you a new law; I'm giving you a new commandment, and it's this: love one another. Then, he amplified it even further, saying faith works through love.

So when you come into the presence of the Father, you become aware of your own unrighteousness. It's not going to remind you of all those little petty sins. He's going to remind you of your lack of faith and your lack of love.

Because when you love you love somebody, you don't steal from them; you don't kill them; you don't say bad things. Love is the motivating force, and faith is His Word in us. Not the written word, but his word in us spoken loud on the spot to you. Now, as you come into his glory, you can feel the presence of the father; there's a conviction that's present here right now.

And if you'll admit it, you haven't walked in the faith that you should, and you've not walked in the love that you should have. When I first experienced God's presence, I'd lived a pretty righteous life. I'd never done anything bad. I grew up in the church, and as a Christian, but as his presence came on me, I began to weep because I realized I was full of stinking rotten pride.

He calls pride a sin, but if it's self-oriented, it's not love. The second time that happened to me and his presence came, he reminded me of the bitterness that I had against certain people who had hurt me. I was not walking in love.

These are the kinds of convictions you're going to get, folks. Your sins have already been paid for on the cross of Calvary. God's not concerned about all your transgressions of the law; they've already been paid for. But are you walking in faith, and are you walking in love?

Let Him Purge You

He wants to bring you to that place because that's how he will use you. So I want you to be honest before the Lord now and say, Lord, I have not walked in love; I still have a lot of anger in me, a lot of bitterness against people that have hurt me, a lot of unforgiveness. And Lord, I really have not trusted you fully in faith. I trusted my own abilities.

Just let those go now and let him purge you because he will purge it with his fire. This comes upon you now in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, for doing what you do best now in Jesus’ name. The Lord gives you a white robe, and He says, I've cleansed you, and I've made you ready to be my vessel of honor that I can use.

When the prophet Isaiah first came into the Father's presence, he immediately felt unworthy because of the language he used.

Isaiah 6:6 Then one of the seraphims flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from the altar:

7 And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, See, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom will I send, and who will go for us? Then I said , Here [am] I; send me. [GBMV]

That's the whole purpose for all of this. That's why the cleansing comes because he wants to use you. And as soon as you submit to that cleansing and that purging, he's immediately going to say, I'm going to use you now. I want to use you, and I want to make you an extension of my power on the earth.

God's doing that for you right now. I can see he's saying that as you've been willing to let go of all your own failures and let me purge you, I've made you ready. I shall anoint you, and I shall take you out into this dark world, and you shall be as a shining light, says the Lord, to take my glory to the lost, to those whose lives are broken, and to set the captives free.

Thank you for it, Father. May your people learn to come into that place and walk in your glory. I ask it in Jesus’ name.
