ah gee, how will we survive without you ?

Good question Jessica, I think several folks were challenged by this

What I am calling. the why is something that I have mentioned often in the past, where I called it Your Core Desire

Each of us has something that is a large part of our motivation to do anything in life

The kind of career you follow the kind of ministry you desire to do etc

At the base of all these desires lies the basic human needs

What are these needs?

1. The need to be accepted by others

2. The need to be recognized or acknowledged by others

I grew up smaller than the average person and developed an inferiority complex as a result

Nobody wanted to associate with me

Nobody wanted me on their playing team because I would not help them win

But I discovered that I had above average intelligence

So I developed that in order to gain acceptance and recognition

I wanted to qualify in a profession that would make people respect me

And initially when I felt called to the ministry I wanted people to look up to me as a spiritual leader

This drove me to study hard in learning the Bible

far greater even than studying at school

When I finally made it into full time ministry I had. great teaching ability

Because I had experienced and studied many thing

But I had not really lived enough to be a true leader

One dear sister in my church said she loved my preaching and teaching

But if she needed help in her marriage or personal life

she preferred to go to someone older and more experienced who had lived a little

So on the one hand she recognized my ability

but she rejected me as a person

So my desire for ministry got all mixed up with my desire for acceptance and recognition

and as a result the Lord had to take me through many deaths before He could use me

The best and only true motive for ministry should be the love of the Lord

But it is hard to love unconditionally as He does

Yet even though it may seem selfish to want to minister to be recognized

It is still a why that drives you to push through and succeed

It takes you through the death processes

We tend to try and hide behind a calling

and blame the Lord for our pushing hard for recogition

And I. certainly qualified to be used - because the Scriptures say that God has chosen the weak and foolish to confound the wise

He uses me in spite of myself

Rejection can sometimes motivate you

When someone tells you that you could never be a grear minister

Then I respond by saying, yes I can and I will prove it to you

I visualized me standing up and preaching better than those big names

And when I finally got a chance to preach my pastor was impressed

So start with whatever why you hold in your heart

Get the boat into the water and moving

The Lord can change the rudder and direction later

You can find your core desire by starting with general desires and drilling down

A person might say their main why is financial independence

But then if you ask them what will change when they get that

You begin to look below the surface

Everyone would like more money

But what will you do with the money once you have it?

If you were given a huge sum of money right now, how would it change your life?

You may pack up your crummy job

You may start your own. business

or you may use the money to get what you always wanted

Maybe a house in fancy part of town?

Then if you got that, what would it bring you?

Well people might respect you more and listen when you speak

This may be based on your life experiences of being ignored

So now the core desire is not really having lots of money

It is not even having a nice house in a nice suburb

It is getting people to take you seriously

Our main desires and needs in life usually fall into three main areas

The condition of our body - our state of health

The condition of our bank account - our state of wealth

or the condition of our relationships - having favor with other people

The Lord can provide all of these for you

And if you use the spiritual forces correctly it can be accomplishe

At the end of the day, how do you see yourself in the future?

If you have a problem with your health you are probably seeing yourself in an early grave

If your finances are terrible you see it as impossible to do the things you really love

and if you have no real friends or good contacts you remain a very lonely person

If you were to paint a picture of yourself right now and what you would like in the future, what would these pictures look like?

wait till you reach my age

I keep reading news of people dying not much older than me

and I realize I cannot live forever

I found the enemy kept sidetracking me by attacking my health

and telling me I was crazy to think i can still do the things that burn in me

Then the Lord spoke to me one night very clearly

He said He has take a lot of time and effort preparing me for His call on my life

and he will not give that up until I accompllish what He called me to

He said I have at least another 20 year left still to fulfill my calling

So that takes me to 94

Yes but I would like to live the last years as a 50 year old

He said he would rejuvenate me like Abraham

When God told Abraham he would have a son when he was already old he doubted it could still happen

I think the mechanisms had stopped working already for Abraham

But later after having Isaac something happened to Abraham

When Sarah died he married a new young dolly and started churning out kids from her

I already have my Keturah, now I just need the rejuvenation of Abraham

But I guess it will have to be spiritual children

This is part of my why

To reproduce in others what God has given me

Anyway to get back to the spiritual forces

I have lots of additional teaching to add to this subject so look out for it

I previously have taught on bulding a template for the soul

There are two things you need to take account with the spiritual forces

The first is how to release them

and the second is how to build them up to increase the power

When I first introduced the concept of building a spiritual template for the soul I was not fully sure what that was or how to do it

But now that I am moving through teaching everything made simple

The Lord gave me a new answer for this

The forces of the spirit must be released into the earth by the body, but first they must go through the soul

What is in the soul that can either encouraged this or block it?

I taught on the effects of bad experiences in life - templates that are formed through life experiences

If you have had a lot of bad experiences with health, wealth and relationships you may find it hard to release the spiritual forces through the soul

You are suffering physically and want to break free to good health

But you see only one picture in your mind and heart

Sickness, pain, suffering and death

If you are suffering financially the main pictures in your heart are ones when things went wrong

I can still remember when they came and repossessed half the things in my home because I had falled behind in my payments

These bad memories make it hard to believe God for prosperity

So how do you change this?

The best way is to have some good experiences that created good templates

If you never had many of these then your heart remains full of negativity

The story of your life is one of failure and lack

HOw can you change this?

Write a new story

How you noticed how when you read a book or watch a story portrayed in a movie you tend to identify with the person involved?

And in most popular movies there is a stage that we call the “All if Lost” stage

The best movies take you through this awful experience, then end with it all changing and offering new hope

So perhaps the story of your life right now has progressed to the All is Lost stage

And all you can see is failure and bad results

But how about we rewrite the story

It does not need to end with all is lost

You can change the ending

and the Lord wants you to experience the good ending

So why don’t you pick up the pieces of your life of loss and change the ending

Fantasize a bit if you want

Imagine how things could change

words have an amazing power of putting picutres in your mind

and if you meditate on these pictures, they will remain in place

So that when you are tempted to expect the worst, you instead rise up and say, “No, there is a good ending coming”

It helps to write down the things you desire

This has become known as making a positive confession

This is totally Scriptural

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of [our] hope without wavering; (because you can rely on the One who promised) [GBMV]

Refuse to see anything else

and when you keep this picture in your mind, you give your spirit a blueprint to use to create using the spiritual forces

Refuse to think about the old bad pictures

The old life will not be repeated, but the new will come now

The old bad relationships will remain behind you

and new wonderful relationships will be formed

Your old bad health will give rise to a new surge of energy

where you can rise up and do mighty exploits

The old lack of finances will give rise to a new abundance

Where you will have enough at any time to say, “What should be go and buy today?\"

Words have this power and if you read them out loud they are even more effective

So stop the old story right now where it is

and begin the epilogues

The life of blessing that awaits you

read it over each day and keep the pictures clearly in your mind

They will fill your mind as you go to sleep at night and produce good dreams

and you will awake with a fresh and exciting expectation for the new day\\

When the old tries to manifest, reject it right away

“Oh no you don’t - nobody invited you

Pictures have an amazing power to. change the way you feel and the things you do

This is how you create a new template for the soul

And your spirit rises up with the spiritual forces and says, “Yes it is clear what we must make now”

If you are watching a movie or reading a book and it creates the old picutres then stop it and put it down

Rewrite the movie of your life

Then begin to fantaaize how wonderful it will be

Your health is perfect, there are plenty of financies, and you have in your life people who love you and add to you

This is what the Lord wants for you

And He creates it for you using the spiritual forces He has put into you\\

So do not waste them and let their power flow out to nowherer

Good pictures produce hope, which is an essential force in your life

You must refuse the bad pictures that the enemy tries to bring

He wants to steal all the blessings

But you have inside of you the power to overcome

and to succeed in everything you desire in life

We will be looking at how to develop and grow these forces

and how to release them into the earth

But what I have shared tonight is one of the most important

Building the right pictures in your heart and mind

When what comes you way does not fit the new story of your life, just reject it

God has only the best in mind for you

Yes, you will face pressures which can actually help you to grow the forces

like building a bigger muscles

But never let go of the things you desire

You decide the story of your life, and God will rewrite it for you

Accept nothing less than the best

And rememvber, the Lord never gives us enough

He is not the God of enough

He is the God of abundance

Let the words of this Psalm be your confession

Psalms 126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

Your dream can come true

Apply the principles in my Book Making YOur Dream Come true

and learn to use those spiritual forces

Rewrite your story and begin to live it now

Your life until now was just a prologue

Now you must write the epilogue - the happy ending
