“It is going to be so exciting when I get the power. I’m just going to take off. I’m going to walk on the clouds. It is going to be so wonderful.”

Facing an Immediate Attack

Do you think so? Let’s look at what happened to Jesus. Jesus went to be baptized in the river Jordan didn’t He? And as He came up out of the water, the Holy Spirit came down on Him and He walked away with the fullness.

But do you know where He went after that? He went to the desert to get attacked by the devil.

You might say, “I can’t understand it. God filled me with His power. It was wonderful to sense His anointing, and now suddenly everything is going wrong. I have never faced such temptation in my life. I am having great problems and I feel terrible.”

You have just entered a new realm. You have entered a spiritual dimension you have never been in before. You just met your enemy face to face and he is not happy at all.

You are going to face the same thing as Jesus. Satan is going to attack you greater than you have been attacked before.

Overcoming Satan

How are you going to overcome him? You might say,

“I can pray in tongues now, so I will just pray in tongues a lot.”

Yes that would help a little, but how did Jesus overcome Satan? What did He use to overcome the devil? He used the Word.

He said, “It is written!”

You might be about to go through this exact experience. When God gives you something new in the Spirit, Satan will challenge it. He will put doubts in your mind. He will tell you it was all your imagination; that you made it all up. He will say,

“You spoke in tongues? Don’t be foolish! That wasn’t tongues. You know it wasn’t. You were just babbling there.”

He’s going to tell you that. He’s going to make you doubt it. And if he can’t make you doubt it, then he might make you think that it is from the devil. He will say,

“That is not the Holy Spirit you know. That could be a demon that got into you and that is making you speak in tongues.”

Yes the devil will tell you that. He wants to steal that power from you. Don’t let him do it. You face him like Jesus did and you say,

“Satan, it is written… God says… The Word says…”

Then as Jesus did, you will come out of the desert, filled with power. That is when Jesus went and did His miracles.

Bringing the Pieces Together

I don’t know much about you and I don’t know which stage you have reached, so I have covered all the stages. We are going to look to the Lord now and ask Him to move by His Spirit

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, today is the day to do that.

If you have accepted Jesus into your heart and you have not been baptized in water, speak to your pastor and arrange for a baptismal service.

If you are reading this e-book and have not received the power of the Holy Spirit, you can receive it today. We are going to give you an opportunity. No matter where you are today, God is going to meet your need.

I have shared what God has given me to speak. Now it is over to Him.

“Come Holy Spirit. Let’s let Him have His way. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus. Spirit of God have your way now. I ask you to move upon each heart. Move upon each one.

Hallelujah, I speak to these bodies, to those that are lacking that life, and I say Holy Spirit come and breathe upon them. Hallelujah, praise you Jesus.”

If you are looking to now receive that power, we are going to reach out in faith now. Do you want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and receive that power? We’re going to do it now.

You are going to reach out with your hand of faith, not for tongues but for the Spirit. You are going to reach out and take it now. Take it out of His hands.

Say, “In the name of Jesus, I receive the gift of your Holy Spirit. Father, I take it by faith.”

Perhaps you have already received the Holy Spirit and you want to move into the gifts of the Spirit. Maybe you want to have the gift of healing, the gift of prophecy, the gifts of revelation - whatever you desire you can receive it by faith.

We are going to reach out and take it now.

“In the name of Jesus take it now. I can feel the power going out. Receive it now. Holy Spirit do it; pour it upon whoever is reading this. Thank you for it. Let your fire fall Lord.”

If you are someone who is wanting to speak in tongues, you have received the Holy Spirit by faith. You now have the Holy Spirit and now you can speak in tongues. You are going to open your mouth and speak in tongues.

Don’t speak your normal language. Speak in another language. Let your tongue go and let the Holy Spirit speak His words through you. The important thing is you must speak. Amen.
