But when it comes to a curse, we have an enemy, and Satan is always the author of a curse. God is never the author of a curse. In order to bring curses into our lives, Satan has an agenda. And we need to learn to recognize that agenda If we can then it's possible for us to avoid the curses I'd like to share with you tonight. Some of satan's agenda I'd like to show you How his agenda has been carried out and I think you will see very clearly. What satan's plan has been and the direction that he was going Let's look at the elements of a curse.

How do we know when the a curse is in operation? Well, there are always three main symptoms. There is theft. There is strife And there is destruction God is not the author of theft. God is not the author of strife. God is not the author of destruction when any of these three things manifest in our lives. We know that there is a curse in operation. Now a curse has a motivating force. Which enables it to get its power?

And when a curse is in operation you will always see this force either coming ahead. Or it will become clearly manifest during the course of that curse operating in your life. And that force is the force of fear fear lies at the root of every curse. Fear is what motivates motivate most of us to do the wrong thing.

Do it out of fear. Now, how does a curse come into being it usually starts with fear fear comes first. And once fear starts to bring the manifestation of the curse the next thing that kicks in Is one of the roots of the flesh the tap root of the flesh which is bitterness the second manifestation of the curse is conflict.

And once conflict is in We now begin to see a full manifestation of the evil that a curse brings. The book of james tells us in james 3 16 For where envying and strife exist? There is confusion and every evil activity So satan will always start with fear. And then he will transition from fear to conflict and strife.

And once he gets to that the door is open wide for every kind of evil. That the enemy wants to bring into our lives. Our blessing is very different. There are also three elements of a blessing three Manifestations that show that a blessing is in operation.

The first one is bountiful provision Total opposite of theft not just provision, but abundant provision continual harmony. And protection from all evil and harm and the blessing also has a motivating force. And that force is the love of god Scripture tells us in 1 john 4 18. There is no fear in agape love.

But mature agape love throws out fear. Because fear carries negative consequences. The person that is continually in fear has not matured yet in agape love. Now satan has some helpers To ensure that his force and his power and his destructive curses Are made to manifest in this world. There are three enemies of the spiritual life Which any theological student will know. They are the world the flesh and the devil.

While the devil is at the the the heart and the root of all of them, but there are two main Facilities that he uses. The first one is what the bible calls the flesh. The flesh is our inherent Tendency to sin, the sinful nature with which we are all born and that manifests in three Roots, which give rise to a tree which we call the tree of the flesh.

Those roots are bitterness, lustful things, and sexual desire. But bitterness is the tap root so Satan start,s And he has an entry because of sin. Because we Are inherently sinful creatures, and because of that He can manipulate That sinful desire in us. And the main Agent that he uses for that is what the Bible calls the world or the world system.

Often I like to refer to it as ‘the system’ because we grow up under the system, a system that is ruled by satan and his cohorts. Now the bible warns us against this very clearly In 1 john 2 15.

It says do not show love for the world system or anything in the world system Whoever loves the world system does not have the abiding love of the father within.

I don't think you can get much clearer than that. You are not to be part of the system, you are not to be influenced by the system. You're not to be party to the world system; we are called to be under a different system that is ruled by almighty God. What does the world system produce? the world system produces what are known as the liberation movements of This world .

The cry in many quarters Has always been a cry for freedom. Freedom, the whole world is crying for freedom. Freedom from what? Everybody wants to break out of the shackles of bondage that have held them, and they want to be free. Now i'll show you that true freedom can only come in Christ, that God alone is the author and the source of true liberty.

There are in this world Organizations that are ungodly that do not use the Scriptures, that are not based on the word that claim. They claim to have the answer to bring liberation and freedom To the people. One of the most Influential Bondages in this world is that of racial prejudice. And so the liberation movements are saying we break free of racial prejudice, all men are equal.

One race is not above another race, but i'll show you what the scripture teaches about that. I want to ask you this question, if the world Is shouting for something? Should not we as believers be a little suspicious?

Because the world is the instrument of Satan, and if the world has an agenda and if the world is pushing And promoting something, should we not as believers just stand back and say hold on. Since when does the world support God's agenda, since when does the world promote what god requires? You need to be very careful.

Though the liberation may be true, though the bondage may be true, The manner in which liberation is brought about by the world system is never ever in agreement the word of God.

Second, bondage of slavery. What is slavery? We don't know much about slavery today in the way it was in times past, But slavery was there back in the old testament already. Slavery has been down through the years. Slavery was when people either sold themselves into slavery, people sold their children into slavery.

The idea was you couldn't pay your debts, so you sold yourself as a slave to pay your debts. That was a lot of what caused early slavery, until in more recent times, it became a racial thing. Where poor people from Africa were taken across To be sold as slaves, largely in North America.

And so began slavery, but slavery wasn't new there, and slavery wasn't always a racial thing. What does the bible say about it? Galatians 5 verse 1 says these words And I want you to listen to this translation because it's accurate. Most of us never grasp what this verse really said.

The original says, stand fast therefore in the liberty which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again In the yoke of bondage. I don't think any of us have ever understood that. But as I looked to translate this verse for this teaching, I discovered something I had never seen before. Here's the GBM translation.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast, therefore, in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not start holding a grudge again because of the bonds of slavery. [GBMV]

That entanglement is an anger and a rebellion, and an arguing, and a disputing. Slavery is long gone, and now suddenly It's risen again and people are looking back and holding a grudge again Over the slavery that was done way back there.

Yes, there is still bondage. And yes, many people are still held in bondage and there is still forms of slavery. There is still some people who impose their woills on others But what's it going to take to break free? Not the liberation movements of this world folks.

In the times of the New Testament slavery was legal and valid. A slave by the name of Onesimus ran away from his owner who was Philemon. Philemon it seems was a believer that Paul had won to the lord and he was a committed christian. Onesimus somehow came across Paul and Paul led him to the Lord And he got saved.

And now he was in a kind of dilemma. Once Paul found out that Onesimus was actually a legal slave who'd run away from his master, Paul had to do the right thing and say to Onesimus, You don't have a right To leave your master. You need to go back again to him

Things had changed a bit now Because you see Philemon was a child of God And Onesimus was also a child of God. So, although their relationship in the natural was master and slave, their relationship in the Spirit now became fellow brothers in the body of Christ.

And so Paul writes the book of Philemon, one chapter only, and he sends this letter with Onesimus back to his owner Philemon. And Paul writes and says, I don't want you to hold it against him; I want you to forgive him, and I want you to stop seeing him as just a slave. I want you to see him now as a fellow brother in Christ.

You see, the Gospel and the Spirit of God and the new birth change everything. In Christ everything is different, But in the natural, legally Onesimus still was a slave, And he was still obligated To go back to his master and submit to his master. The rebirth did not cancel that obligation, but it changed their relationship.

One of the biggest liberation movements in the world is known as the Women's Liberation Movement. Because women through the years have been suppressed, Have been held back, have not been allowed to do the same things that men can do. Women weren't allowed to vote, women were basically supposed to be ‘barefoot and pregnant’, just housewives.

Women were considered as the property Of their husbands, and in some nations that still applies. How do we break free of this? The woman's liberation movement says, we will set the woman free, we will rise up and claim our rights. But where's Christ in it? Where's the lord in it?

Yes, the suppression is wrong. Yes, we must break free. But how do we do this? We do not do it using the world's system Galatians chapter 3 in verse 27 says this For as many of you as have been baptized into the body of christ Have put on christ There is not a jew nor is there a non-jew or greek? There's not a slave nor is there an on slave Is not a male nor is there a female? For you are all one in christ jesus Now in the natural Is there a jew and a greek or gentile? Absolutely in the natural are there different nations? Are there different races? Absolutely, they exist In the natural is there slavery? In some places probably still is It does exist in the natural Are men and women different? Absolutely And they will never change You see but in christ Those differences disappear In christ we are all one and the same because we're not looking at our bodies we're looking at our spirits Only in christ folks Can we break free Now I want you to look at what satan has done with his whole agenda The first thing that started it all Was the covered 19 the corona virus pandemic Which came out of nowhere? Where did it come from? And everybody's afraid of this virus that has taken so many people's lives Well, there's other viruses that have been taking lives for years and every year thousands of people die from the flu virus But who is the author of sickness and disease It's not the lord It's satan I gave a teaching some time ago, which i'm now making available on our website under A current seminar which is available for you to go and watch freely There are several going at the moment one is entitled overcoming sickness poverty and loneliness The three main problems we have in life bad health lack of wealth and bad relationships And in that i've dealt with three important subjects What are the origins? Of sickness and disease. What is the origin of poverty? What is the origin of loneliness and bad relationships? It's taken from a series which are called overcoming evil, which is all about dealing with the works of satan in our lives And I taught there that the origins of sickness and disease Are not germs and viruses Germs and viruses are the agents of sickness and disease They're not the origins The origin is spiritual The origin is demonic There are demons of infirmity Demons of sickness and disease it is satan's task to destroy the lives of god's creation Especially the descendants of adam because satan hated adam because adam took his place Satan who wants to destroy And it's demonic powers That are causing sickness and disease And mixed in with that is the most powerful force that satan can use which is fear fear of sickness and disease And satan who won a victory he thinks When he produced the covid-19 pandemic He unleashed upon this world a spirit of fear Such as we have not seen most of us in our lifetime a spirit of fear where every day when you get up You face the fear When you go out and meet other people you face the fear.

What if I contract this thing? What if I die? Because there is no cure The whole world became gripped with fear Satan's first step in his agenda of bringing his curses upon this world And as everybody bowed to that spirit of fear as everybody gave into it The door was opened wide now for all the other elements of the curse to come in And probably the first symptom after fear became conflict and strife. Why? Because immediately the governments of this world began to clamp down And lock people down from getting out of their homes from moving about And doing as they wished And people don't like being restricted people don't like being told what they're not allowed to do It was just a matter of time and all around the world Groups of people began to rise up and protest Large groups of people began to gather and say we will not submit to this lockdown We want freedom. We want freedom to choose.

We want to go out Do what we want Strife began immediately Trouble was locking everybody at home and nobody being allowed to do their jobs came financial conflict And difficulty And that stirred it up even more even more And you see our transition from fear Into theft strife and destruction Satan carefully planned an event Where an ungodly policeman Took the life of a man And the video was made viral all over the whole world and the whole world rose up in anger Because it was a racial thing And it stirred racial liberation movements in virtually every nation And people are rising up in anger Still Not only are they rising up in racial anger, they are wanting to get rid of the police force and produce anarchy So that crime can run rampant Oh What a heyday satan's gonna have we get rid of the police And now criminals can go out and rape and kill and murder and steal and do whatever they like Satan is having a heyday folks The world doesn't know any better They don't know any better That's all they have but we are children of the living god We have been redeemed from these things We are not part of this world system we don't Shouldn't ever allow ourselves to be caught up in what the world is doing There is a greater force than fear Bible calls it love The love of god Love of god the scripture says there is no law or force That can come against the love of god. The love of god is likened to light That when it hits darkness darkness flees Do you realize that we as the children of god have in our hands a tool that could change this world for good They can turn it upside down they can set the captives truly free in christ and bring peace and harmony to bring prosperity and abundance to bring healing And health to the nations and instead we're caught up in satan's agenda Oh, what a masterful job it was Satan's been planning this one for years And he's got all the right people in place And he can just one at a time pull the next string and have everybody jump to what he wants Yes, this world is filled with injustice This world is filled with wickedness. This world is filled with prejudice But we as believers We've got a better solution folks We've got a better solution than allowing ourselves to be caught up in that And to allow ourselves to be filled with fear To allow ourselves to be filled with hatred and anger anger and bitterness To look back on how we were treated in the past to look back on how we were made slaves How we were oppressed and we were suppressed and how we were treated in the past the scripture says stand forth stand firm in the liberty and do not again get caught in holding grudges against what has happened in the Past because the past is over And the present can only be changed and the future can only be changed And we rise up and shine the light light of god's love and glory this world They try to kill the early christians But all they did was continue to love And it was said of the early believers behold How they love one another they prepared to die for one another There's no prejudice There's no hatred.

There's no grudges There's no divisions Oh folks Keep your eyes open To what satan is trying to do in this world? And it's time we as the body of christ stand up as the true liberation movement as the Only liberation movement who can truly bring liberty to the people Through the truth of the gospel of the lord. Jesus christ. We can set the captives free.

We can break the bonds of wickedness We're going to do that by coming together And in christ, there will be no racial division I'm i'm afraid it's a sad thing that these things still do exist Even in the visible body of christ, you know, why because the church of today is caught up still in the system The body of christ the status quo church Is still controlled by the system And that's why god wants to raise up new leaders End times apostles and prophets who will stand up and speak and say no more submitting to the system no more We're going to bring the kingdom of god down to this earth and he is going to live and he is going to reign in and through us We have authority over these things folks Do you know what we allow ourselves to get in fear? We submitted ourselves to it It's so easy to look at our politicians And the rules that they've given us and what we're allowed to do and what we're not allowed to do and get bitter about it It's so easy to see the injustices and get caught in that Not realize that we serve the one who rules all that we have in our hands the authority and the power and the name of jesus Of the power of the spirit of god to speak his word into the earth Prophets have keys apostles have keys and authority to bind and loose and to release What are we doing? We're getting caught up in the world system. We're groveling The first thing satan did was disable the church But why did the church get disabled because the church was bound by the system Now suddenly when the system didn't allow the church to freely worship And do its work The church was totally disabled Only those who were not reliant on the system Only those who knew who they were in the lord Have stood firm And have been unmoved And have been unchanged My intention tonight is not to condemn And it's not to judge It's to warn Not only to warn But to come in the love of the lord and to show you folks that there is a better way I want you to know you that are filled with fear The lord does not condemn you for your fear But he has a better solution to your fear Because perfect mature love the scripture says throws the fear out We all have these hidden little fears in our hearts and lives And they're all something that satan will take And he will use So I don't want to end tonight without giving you an opportunity to break free of those fears And then if you allowed yourself to become bitter and angry And all the evil and all the injustice in this world I want you to let it go I want you to bring it to the lord and say lord I stand on the promise of your word, which says vengeance is mine I will repay Says the lord I want you to let go of your rights to open your mouth and to protest And do whatever you've been called on to do in this world To try and bring change because without the lord that change is not going to happen All that change is going to do is to promote worthy organizations and in the end there are specific Individuals who are going to benefit from this and they're going to use you to achieve their own ends And so many of these things right now have a political base Don't get caught up in that Don't have to get caught up in that we're children of the king And actually we are the ones who should be ruling And reigning in this world with him So as we come to him in prayer now, I want you I want you to be honest with the lord And I want you to submit yourself afresh to him I want you to say lord. I've i've allowed fear in my heart I've allowed it there lord and you say that we should not fear the most common words god ever spoke and jesus spoke were fear not fear not That's a commandment don't fear So I want to pray with you now you Who are still struggling with fear? I'm going to ask god to take that fear away from you And I want you to reach out and let him fill you with his love and his peace His joy Lord jesus You love your people lord Even those who've allowed themselves to go astray to get caught up in all these things your love doesn't change He doesn't condemn you he never will His love is constant He will still love you no matter what you do But oh if you want to recognize and experience the power of that love Let's give up these foolish little things That are allowing satan to have a hold on our lives.

Shall we do that? Why don't you bring those fears to him Perhaps those fears are so deep in your heart. You haven't even mentioned them to anybody. I want you to mention it now Bring it out loud Admit it I admit i'm afraid of this I'm afraid of that happening in my life Bring it out into the open and have a good look at it And recognize from where that fear comes because it doesn't come from the lord and the lord's going to deliver you of that fear right now Lord jesus in the name Which is above every other name? I take authority over the spirits of fear that are binding your people now and I command you to loose now Loose your hold now in jesus name The chains be broken Off you go be gone be gone be gone Lord's setting you free right now.

Those shackles are falling off you It's just falling off you onto the ground now give up your rights To be vindicated Give up your rights for justice Give up that right to the lord. Let him fight for you because he has a better way of fighting than you And he doesn't need liberation movements to do it. He has something far greater He has the power of his spirit to do that The nations are as a drop in the bucket to him he can do amazing things Let go of satan's agenda folks Let go of satan's agenda.

Let the king of kings Take up his agenda in your life Let his love begin to flow in and through you you need to start to love those Who have hurt you? You need to start to love those Who have caused evil in your life Oh, that's not easy, is it It's not easy Many people have faced this in this world Have been abused and treated so badly by fellow human being And now the lord says I want you to let it go And I want you to forgive them And I want you to place it in my hands It's a difficult step to make But if you'll make that now the lord's going to set you free and you'll feel true liberty and a freedom that you've never ever known before holy spirit I ask you now to reach out to your people That as each one of them reaches out Even as difficult as it is as what it is to say. Okay lord. I let it go I let it go.

I let go my rights To be vindicated I put it in your hands I let go of my right to get revenge And I put it in your hands now And I ask you to take control Now lord make me an instrument of your peace Make me an instrument of your love Cause your love and your glory to so shine out from me That my enemies even Will bow the scripture says that god is able to make even our enemies at peace with us God is able to do amazing things Let's go off satan's agenda now take up god's agenda Your life is going to change Our circumstances are going to change and if the body of christ internationally could rise up and do this together I believe we're going to see this world Change for the lord You want to be part of the solution I do Let's do it now.
