Welcome back. I trust that you had a very good weekend and that you are looking forward to a wonderful week that lies ahead. You are all motivated and ready to go.

Now the problem that a lot of people seem to be having is they are motivated and ready to go. But they are not quite sure where to start or what they should do. They don't know exactly what they should be doing if they are going to start a business?

We dealt last week a lot with finding your core desires. And as I have shared with people about their core desires, one theme seems to be coming up more than others and that is the arts. So this week I am going to be sharing a little more about this area.

Now as you consider starting a business, and especially consider going online, that is the best place to start isn't it? Most of us can't afford to lay out a lot of money to start a business; to buy a lot of materials and all of the costs that are involved.

That is why most people dream for years about going into business but they never really get around to it. It just costs too much money.

The beauty of the Internet is that it costs you very little. It maybe costs you a bit of monthly rental to hire space on the web, and you can get going and start your business immediately. You can also start earning money very quickly.

But what are you going to sell that people will buy? Most people are thinking,

“Well I have nothing to give. I have nothing to offer.”

There are a lot of programs out there that are trying to teach different things that you can offer. But I would like to address something deeper than that. I would like to address your inner motivation and ability.

I would like to show you that you already have within you all that you need to get started. You already have something that you can offer other people that they want.

The Importance of Diligence

Here is the one thing that you are going to need above all others if you want to succeed. It is a little thing that Solomon told us about in Proverbs 22:29. He said,

See the man who is good at his work? He will present himself before kings; he will not make himself available to ordinary people.

You see it is actually not really that important what you do in business. It is your diligence in what you do that is important.

What exactly is diligence? Diligence is the thing that is going to make you to be in demand in the marketplace. It is taking something that people out there want, making the effort and going about it consistently until you get results.

Most people just want to open up a business, advertise it and expect that the whole world will come running to them. They think that people are just dying for what they have to offer.

I used to think that if you offer people something for free that this would happen; that you would get absolutely swamped. But I found out that even if you give people something for free, you have to sell it to them.

So part of developing a business involves learning how to sell and I will share on that more as we go on.

Developing Your Skills

There are two main qualities that you will need and they are skill and diligence.

Well where is your skill going to lie? For most of us, it is going to lie in one of two areas, either in the sciences or in the arts. Sometimes you will have a bit of an overlap and you will have both.

When I was younger I thought that I was a scientific person. I loved the science subjects at school like mathematics, physics and chemistry. I thought that this was going to be my career.

It was only after my career never took off, when everything went wrong and I couldn't fulfill what I wanted to, that I actually discovered that I had a lot of artsy stuff in me. As the Lord changed my direction completely and I ended up going into ministry, I found that a lot of these artistic things began to come out.

Now here is the mistake that most people make. They think that arts are something that you are born with. You are born with an artistic skill.

You know some people grow up and they just know how to do artsy things. They know how to paint. They know how to draw. They know how to sing or they can play music without any effort.

It is not true. These things are in our spirits. Yes you are born with it because you are born with a spirit. But you can develop artistic ability by developing what has been placed in your spirit.

Unfortunately most people prefer the sciences, because you can develop the sciences by developing your mind. For the arts you have to go a little bit deeper than the mind. You have to tap into some resources that are within you.

Very often the ladies seem to find this easier. We talk about women's intuition, because women seem to have more intuition which tends to come from the spirit within. Guys want to be macho and they don't want to do artsy things, because that is feminine.

That is foolish. You see arts come from the spirit within, not from the mind. And so you can develop those skills.

Now we are going to be offering you in the future an opportunity to set up your business online.

Perhaps you feel that God has called you to ministry, and only ministry burns inside of you. Well that doesn't mean that you can avoid business, because ministry takes money.

So you need some kind of business presence with your ministry. And right now the best way to do that is to get on the Internet, on the World Wide Web.

Future Goals and Visions

So my future goal and what I am going to be offering you in Global Business Resources International, is I am firstly going to help you to provide a web presence. We are in the process of completing a package right now that will allow you to set up a website within minutes.

Within a day you can begin to publish and announce yourself and get involved with people in discussion forums. You can start developing mailing lists and sending materials out to those lists.

You can also set up a page to sell your products. You will be able to set it up very quickly.

And then we want to provide a place for Christian entrepreneurs to interact with each other. We want them to be able to fellowship with each other and to share some of the revelations and ideas that are burning within them; to build up the Body of Christ and to take back the land that this world has held.

The world is holding the control of the music industry. In Hollywood the world is holding the control of the film industry, theatre and all the artistic side; even the sciences.

It is time we as God's people take back the land. It is time that the church becomes the standard; that it becomes the place where we go to find the experts on these things.

How are we going to come to that place?

We are not going to get it by going into the world and learning how they did it. We are going to go and learn how they did it so we can find out how not to do it.

Challenging the World System

This is something you had better get ready for. The first thing I am going to be doing in business, is the same thing I did when it came to the apostolic function of providing a ministry structure; of laying out a pattern for the End Times Church.

And even as I have challenged the church system and presented the fivefold calling as a way of challenging the church system in this world, I will be presenting the fivefold business calling as a way of challenging the systems of this world.

So if you are expecting to hear what you hear in the world; if you are expecting to receive the kind of training that you get in worldly business schools, then you are going to be disappointed.

If that is what you are looking for, I suggest you stop reading this book right now, and go to the world and drink of their dirty water, because that is all they have to offer.

But we can offer the crystal clear fountain that comes from the throne of God. We are going to offer revelation and wisdom that comes from the Spirit of God Himself.

We are going to turn this world upside down for the Lord. And we are going to take back the land that the world has held.
