Let me tell you something. Any person who says to this mountain, be removed and be thrown into the sea, and does not waver in doubt in his heart, but is fully persuaded that those things that he's saying are happening for him, he will have whatever he says. Because of this, I'm telling you, no matter what you are asking for yourself, while you are praying, commit yourself to taking it, and it will happen.

I want to speak today on the power of words. Words are probably the most powerful things in this world. Sometimes we don't realize it.

Words have the power to change us. They have the power to build or destroy. Now, Satan knows the power of words.

In fact, he even tried to use words to overcome God. You know that? As I, 1412, speaking of the fall of Lucifer, it says, How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How are you cut down to the ground, which weakened the nations? For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, the sides of the north. Satan used words to deceive Eve. Did God say? No, of course, God didn't say.

Gave different words to lead her astray. And you know what? It's still the power that he uses against us. He speaks negative words into our hearts.

He tries to get us to repeat those words. When we do, we give him license in the earth. I won't ever discount the importance of the words that you speak.

Because words carry spiritual power. Why is that? Because words always originate from a spirit. See, we can speak words because we have a spirit.

Animals cannot speak words. They do not have a spirit. God spoke the original words because he is the ultimate original spirit.

And a spirit has the power to create. God is the original creator. And how did he do it? He did it using words.

Now, our spirits come from God. They're kind of like a little piece of God, if you like. And they also have an ability to create.

But our spirits have limited power. We can create within the realms of nature and in this world. We can take a lot of what's there and change it.

But we cannot exercise supernatural power in ourselves. Only the Holy Spirit has unlimited power. He created the worlds.

When God spoke and said, let there be, the Holy Spirit moved in and formed the worlds. And he's now living inside of you. The Holy Spirit is living inside of every believer and he still creates using words.

God is still in the creation business. And he wants to create a life of blessing for you. He still does it using words.

But it takes more than words. You see, God's words now must be delivered through human lips. Now, the Bible, which we call the Word of God, although it's God's words, had to come into being via human channels.

Humans had to produce those words. And we now hold in the 66 books what we call the Word of God. And God now speaks through those who preach that word.

And he speaks through those who release his words through prophetic utterance into the earth. You have the power to release creative energy through words. But where did those words come from? Those words can come from three different sources.

Firstly, they may come from your own heart. Because you are a spirit. The words that you speak could have been put into you by the enemy.

And when he gives you those suggestions and those negative words, and you speak them into the earth, do you realize that you're actually licensing Satan in the earth? Because the spirit works through words. Satan is a spirit. A corrupted spirit, but a spirit nevertheless.

He needs to create through words. And he needs you to speak his words before he can create. So sometimes we need to shut up.

Instead of speaking all the thoughts that Satan puts into our minds. Oh, and we express our fears, don't we? And all our doubts and our worries. And we say, come on, devil, come and destroy.

We give him license. And then you can speak the words that God puts into your spirits. And your words need two very important qualities in order for them to work.

Firstly, they must be spoken in faith. See, words require faith. God created the world with faith and words.

It says in Hebrews 11, verse 3, through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. So the things that are seen were not made from things that are visible. Now, for you to create, you need both of them.

We saw there in Mark 11, 23. You have to believe and know without a wavering of doubts. And if you do that, your words will release power and will create.

Now, we often wait for God to create for us, don't we? Lord, I'm praying. Lord, please. Lord, will you provide my needs? Lord, will you heal my body? Lord, will you deal with that person at work? Oh, we have so many things we cry to the Lord for.

And we wait and we wait. And sometimes we wonder whether God listened. Of course, man, I'm still waiting.

I hear people saying, I've been believing for years for God to do this. You know, I don't see Jesus doing that, do you? Did you see Jesus believing for something and waiting for it to happen? And he spoke, it happened instantly. Instantly.

No hesitations whatsoever. You see, God cannot create firstly until we speak words. If you're sitting there with your mouth shut and hoping and waiting for God to work, you took away the only power that God uses to do things in this world.

Well, I did pray to the Lord. And I said, Lord, please, will you do this? Hey, I even did it in faith. And now I'm waiting for God to move.

God says, I want to move in the earth, but I need some words. Well, you know, if you're really blessed, God may find some prophet somewhere who's open to listen during a time of intercession. And the prophet knows there's some short, bald little guy sitting out there shouting somewhere that needs prayer.

I used to sit and cry to the Lord and say, Lord, don't you inspire one of these prophets to pray for me? Yeah, I'm always praying for them. I was praying for other people, Lord. Can't you inspire somebody to pray for me? God wants to create for you in this world.

Somebody has to speak the words. You don't have to wait for some prophet to supernaturally get that. You have the power to do it right now yourself.

So words must be sent in faith. They must be spoken and they must be spoken with faith. But it requires one more thing.

They must be spoken with authority. See, both faith and words are released with authority. God didn't speak and say, uh, creation, would you like to form? I would like it if you did that.

He said, let there be now light be earth be. That's an order. It's a command.

It takes authority to give a command. And God gave that command using his authority with faith. Bam, it happened.

Well, you know, man likes to naturalize it and say, well, it took millions of years of evolution for it to happen. See, because we only know the power of our human spirit. And our human spirit does have creative abilities.

And if we start using that creative ability, we will eventually get something to happen. But it could take a while. Only God speaks is the ultimate authority that instant, instant, no hesitation.

Jesus did everything, everything with authority. In Matthew chapter nine, they dropped a guy down to the roof. And Jesus looked at him and said, your sons of your son, your sins are forgiven you.

And they criticize him for that. He said, so that you may know that I have authority to forgive sins. He spoke a word of command, rise, take up your bed and walk.

You know what they said afterwards? It says, but when the multitude saw it, they were amazed and glorified God who had given such authority to men. God gave this kind of authority to a mere man. Well, they didn't know who Jesus was, but he stood ever the less as man.

And he used that authority. They were amazed. Now Jesus was given the ultimate authority.

And I know that Matthew chapter 28 verse 18. And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, all authority, all authority, all authority is given to me in heaven and in earth. Now, therefore, go disciple the nations, baptizing them into the name, which is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the name of the Lord Jesus.

Now, Jesus gave us the right to use that authority. Which authority? All authority in heaven and earth. He gave us the right to use that authority.

He said, whatever you do, do it now in my name. Do it as representing me. Do it as though you were standing in my place because I'm delegating my authority down to you.

If you are a child of God, you have the right to take the ultimate authority, which was given to the Lord Jesus Christ. And stand in his name and use that authority. But I wish the Lord would use his authority for me.

I've been praying and waiting for him to speak a word. And he says, I'm standing ready to speak the word. But I want human lips to speak it through.

Who will make themselves available to me that I may speak my words of creation into the earth. But I'm waiting and hoping and praying. I wish somebody would speak the words.

There is somebody to speak the words. Go look in the mirror. Now it takes power to activate authority.

Your human spirit has inherent power built into it because it has the nature of God. It was made in his image. It came from God.

He breathed into man the breath or the spirit of life and man became a living being. So you have in your spirit an inherent power. It's very much like the power of God.

Okay, but it's limited. It will bring some results, but the results are limited. Now here's something you may not realize.

Even unbelievers have this power. Because they still have a spirit. Aren't they spiritually dead? That doesn't mean their spirits are dead.

Just means they're dead towards God. That's all. Don't read the success philosophies of this world.

Now God gave me a revelation which I call the way of blessing. And it was very powerful for me and helped me to break free of a lot of problems that I had. But as I began to look at what the world was teaching, I kind of had to look at it again and say, what makes the way of blessing different? So what unbelievers are doing? Yes, I was teaching that we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but I was teaching how to use the power of our human spirit to accomplish things.

And you know, sometimes unbelievers were getting it done better than me. I said, Lord, this is the most powerful teaching you ever gave me. Nobody ever seemed to grasp it and fully use it.

And not long ago, the Lord said to me, I want to change your theology a little bit. So I'm officially changing my theology today in front of all of you. I'm not throwing away the way of blessing.

Its principles apply. But the way of blessing even is limited to the power of the human spirit. But you have within you another spirit.

And the Holy Spirit dwells within your body and influences your spirit because your spirit has come to life when you were born again, but your spirit still has its own separate inherent power and your spirit can still choose to not receive from the Holy Spirit. And I thought the way of blessing, I thought it was automatic. I thought the Holy Spirit and your spirit became so one that you couldn't tell the difference.

But when I began to look at certain things like curses, which affect our spirits, I thought, how can that be? If my spirit is perfect because it's indwelled by God, how can Satan get in there? But he can. He can get into your spirit, but he cannot touch the Holy Spirit. I've come to realize in recent times that the power of the Holy Spirit is available to us, but it's never automatic.

He does not impose himself on us in any way. We have got to reach out and tap into that power and receive it. And then when we receive it in our spirit, then we can pour it forth.

That's where things begin to change because the power of the Holy Spirit is far, far greater, far greater than your spirit. Now, only believers can do this. This is where we go beyond what unbelievers can do.

I remember some years ago reading Yang Yichou, who taught on the fourth dimension of how we can tap into the realm of the spirit in the process of incubation and cause things to happen in this world. And he was preaching this fervently, and then he saw a newspaper news item, and it said that a Buddhist bishop took somebody who was sick, I think maybe even being cancerous, I mean, up to his little whatever they do their thing, and got it healed. And Yang Yichou said, well, he said, I was confused.

I was saying, Lord, but, you know, how can that be? What makes them any different to us? How can I claim we have got more when they can do it also? And the Lord had to show him that you have so much more. You can do so much more because you have a far greater power, because you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. You can do a lot with the human spirit, trust me.

The wealthy, successful people out there are using the power of the human spirit, because it has a certain divine element to it. It's the way God made us to survive and function in this world. So many believers are trying to follow the teachings of the world, trying to apply the same things, and you know what? You will get results.

But if you don't know how to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit, you will never know the supernatural results that are available to you through the ultimate power in the universe. Now you, if you desire to create the life that you want, you're going to need three things. You're going to need power, you're going to need authority, and you're going to need faith.

Those three all work together to bring about a creation. God stood in authority, the ultimate ruler of the universe. He spoke in faith, and his power created.

All three worked together. Let's look at what we have, where these three are concerned. Well, we just saw that Jesus said, all authority, the ultimate authority is given to me in heaven and earth.

That is why the name of Jesus is the name above every name. People sometimes say, is Jesus' name higher than the name of God? I've preached this many times, but sometimes people just don't get this. I'm going to preach it again, until you get it.

Jesus said, all authority is given to me in heaven and in earth. Go, therefore, because of this, therefore you must go and baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In the religious, traditional churches, they are quite faithful to this.

I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Some, like the church I grew up in, feel we've got to baptize the person three times. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, you're drowning by the third time, and of the Holy Spirit, or they'll baptize your head three times anyway.

They miss the point of what Jesus was trying to say. He's saying, because all authority has been given to me, my name now is the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus Christ, Father, Son, Spirit, all in one.

When you stand in the name, you carry the full authority of heaven. Now, Jesus is living inside you now, through the Holy Spirit, and you can use his name. That means you have authority in heaven, and in earth, and also in hell.

You have authority over angels. In the heavenly realm, you have authority over demons. In the demonic realm, the realm under the earth, the underworld, you have authority over sickness, you have authority over poverty.

Because these are all things that exist in this world. That authority is given to you in the name of Jesus. You may say, well, you know, I feel like maybe my authority is a bit weak.

I wish I had more authority. Lord, please could you give me more authority? There is no more authority. There is no more authority.

Jesus is the ultimate authority. And with you standing in his name, you are exercising the ultimate authority in heaven and earth. So stop praying for more authority.

Now, there's another kind of authority, which I'll speak about shortly. That's when it comes to ministry. But you see, this authority gives you authority over your life, and on your circumstances in this world, over angels and demons.

It does not give you authority over people. So stop looking for more authority. You've got it.

OK, it requires faith. Well, what level of faith do you have? Scripture says, by grace, you are saved through faith. You required faith to come to the Lord Jesus and to be saved.

And salvation, a Greek word, by grace, you are saved. That Greek word, sozo, or soterios, refers to deliverance from sickness, poverty, demons, everything. That means you got the faith already for these things.

And you accepted the Lord as your savior. That faith is residence in you through him. So you can accomplish great things.

If you would just use your authority. Well, how do you use your authority? You release it through speaking words. I've never yet seen anybody submit to a higher authority until the higher authority gave a command.

I've never seen soldiers standing in rank, moving without the higher rank telling them what to do. Squad, turn! Standard, ease! Left, turn! Authority has got to be released through words. Now, if you want to do greater things for God and you feel your faith is weak, it's very easy to build faith because the Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the rhema word of God.

You just need to do two simple things on a daily basis. You need to spend time meditating in the word of God. Have you ever watched some of these self-help people that call themselves gurus? Just watching one this week.

A married couple talking about succeeding and performing successfully. And the first thing you hear is, well, you need to meditate first thing in the morning. I spend time every day meditating, they claim.

Talk about unbelievers here. What does God want us to do what they do? I don't know. But he actually has told us to meditate.

He told Joshua in the Old Testament, you'll take this word, keep speaking it, it will be on your lips at all times, meditate in it day and night and you will make your way successful. Everything you touch will prosper. Every place you put your foot, it's already given to you.

You'll take it. But you know, nobody's teaching us how to meditate the word. Well, meditation is you sit there, you let your mind go blank.

Now, what do you think about? Some of them say, well, if you find they're really controlling your mind, then use a mantra. The original mantra was om, oh we know we shouldn't be doing that nonsense, so please don't for one moment think I'm suggesting it. We have a better mantra, it goes like this, shalamandabalabasutaramasikalabarandabaritakaranda.

Words inspired by the Holy Spirit bring us into his presence. But actually that just helps you get in the mood. The words you're supposed to speak come from the word of God.

The written, established logos. Those are the words you're meant to be meditating. Well how do you meditate the word of God? I feel I want to do a full teaching on it, maybe even give you a whole course, a whole project to do with some methods and some suggestions on how you can do it.

But basically you've got to take the word of God and let it fill your mind until it sinks down into your spirit. If you do that daily and then spend time in his presence in prayer, so what I do when I come into his presence is pray. I go Lord these are the things I want, these are the things that I need, these are the things all my family and my friends and everybody else needs.

These are all the things I can think of right now, I'm sure I'll come back some more later but for now that's all I can think of. Thank you Lord, my prayers over. Can you imagine Jesus praying hours at a time in the presence of the Father bringing his requests? But he did, he spent hours.

You know, it's not difficult to come into his presence with praise and worship, sometimes just plain speaking in tongues, just speak in tongues. Okay, let me give you a simple way of meditating. It works, we've proved it over and over again, we've taught it to our prophetic students.

Take yourself a couple of good promises, the scriptures, memorize them so you don't have to carry your Bible around with you. But if you have to do that, take those scriptures and take a walk. We've got a nice big yard here, for me to walk all the way around the perimeter of the yard takes a few minutes.

During that time I can repeat the scripture at least 20 times or more, over and over again. He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from all their fears. That's a great one I like to use when I'm under physical attack and Satan's attacking my body.

He sent his word and healed them, delivered them from all their fears. Say it over again as many times as you can. He sent his word and healed them.

And as you say it, think about it, visualize it, try and make it into a picture. Imagine here you are and he's sending his word. How's it coming, by email? Well, why not? I just got an email, you have mail, email from God.

Here's my word, you are healed. Well, maybe you'd like to get it in a different way, maybe you got it in the postbox. Just walk to your postbox and say, there it is, I just got a message from God.

He sent his word to me to heal me and to deliver you from all my fears. That part always goes with sickness because when you are sick and Satan is attacking you, he's trying to tell you you're going to die, that it's something serious, that it's going to end up in pain and suffering, it's going to be bad news and you're full of fear. Well, he doesn't just heal you, he takes away the fear as well.

Come on, meditate on that one for a while. Then after you've meditated on it, just start speaking in tongues. So, one circuit confessing the word, another circuit praying in tongues and another circuit confessing the word.

You know what? It's a pretty good exercise to walk in here. You can even make it a brisk walk. You've got Old Right Meats, the best exercise.

It doesn't take too much effort. So, you kill three birds with one stone. You prayed, you studied the scriptures and meditated and you got fit.

I tell you what, it's powerful. When we're in Mexico, we live just a couple of blocks from the beach and it was our procedure. I tell you what, sometimes in the middle of the night, they ask me outside, let's go for a walk on the beach.

Perfectly safe there, no fear of crime and stuff. Walk on the beach 12 o'clock at night all by yourself. I wish I could have that again.

It was lovely. Let's go for a beach walk. You're enjoying your day, definitely.

Now I'll go, I'll do a little circuit that part of the beach and she'll do a circuit that part of the beach. When all of us used to go as a team, we each found our little spot. Just walked around, speaking the word, praying in tongues, speaking the word, praying in tongues.

I tell you what, by the time we got back home again, we were flying high. You know what, if you don't have a yard, just take your biggest room in the house and walk around and around and around your lounge if that's all you can do. It works.

But no, we let the fear get to us. We let the worry get to us. Oh, Lord Jesus, what am I going to do? Call the doctor, find out if I'm going to die or not.

Nothing wrong with calling the doctor, but did you take the time to meditate the word and to pray it through? You know, if you just did those two on a regular basis every day, your faith will start to grow. Do you know why? Because as the word begins to sink deep down into you, the next time you face a problem, you know what's the first thing that's going to pop out? The word. You feel the pain in your body and your first response is, oh, is this serious? The first response becomes, he said his word and healed them.

I delivered them from all their fears. Okay, let's just take the word and get it healed. That's faith.

See, that's how you build your faith. Try it. Just sit aside 10 minutes.

You know what? You could do a half an hour comfortably, but if that's too much, 10, 15 minutes, just try it. Just take two or three scriptures, good promises in the word and speak them over and over again. Take them turns and you'll feel that power begin to build up inside of you.

You find your faith begin to rise. You find the fear beginning to vanish away. You begin to hear the voice of God and you'll be amazed.

And as that faith rises up, you then take the authority you have in the name of Jesus. You take your ability to speak words and you send it into the earth and you command and you decree. Hey! Hey! Get out of my body now! I ain't gonna let you do this no more.

Hey, get out of my finances now! Don't you dare, Satan! Some people think they can do that in their minds. The bad news for you, Satan can't read your mind. He can put thoughts into it, but he can't pull out of it.

Only unbelievers give him that right. And even then you'll find people who do the mind reading, Satan actually puts the thought into this person's mind and tells this person what thought he's put into that person's mind. It's still not mind reading.

Your mind is your private domain. So don't try and resist Satan in your mind. Don't try and pray in your mind.

Takes words! Now that'll give you all you need to build the life that you desire. To get all your needs and desires met. You don't need anything more than that.

If however, God has called you to move higher and you've got to come to a place of now being used by him to not only deal with that to meet your needs, but to meet the needs of others. Then it becomes ministry. Now you are not exercising authority only over yourself and over Satan, angels and demons and this world.

You're now actually letting that authority work on behalf and sometimes even towards somebody else. That takes a different kind of authority. We picture that allegorically as a key.

The ability to bind and loose, to lock and unlock. Part of the keys of the kingdom, but especially each ministry has one of those keys. And so when we train the prophets, we try to bring them to a place where they move beyond simply speaking God's word in prophecy, but actually they are given the authority, given the authority to speak on behalf of somebody else.

To decree, to actually even bless and curse. And cursing should be a last response. That can be done.

Elijah was walking along, some young kids, young youths came, began to mock him. And he turned and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. And the bears came out and destroyed them.

Elijah goes to the king. He waves his finger in his face and he says, it's not going to rain for the next few years until I say so. I've commanded the rain to stop.

Well, that wasn't a blessing, was it? No, no. See, it's another kind of authority. And God's not going to give that kind of authority to anybody who's not ready to handle it and hasn't qualified.

And that is why when God calls you into a ministry office, he takes you through such an intense time of preparation and training to bring you to total death, to your own desires, that you don't use that authority in the flesh for yourself. It's never for yourself. It's always for somebody else.

And you see that when you qualify, you'll be given that key. Every one of the ministries has a key, but the evangelist and the pastor, their keys aren't quite the same because they're not on the office level. But the teacher, the prophet and the apostle all have a unique key.

For the prophet, there's two different kinds, the golden key, which is used for ministry and a silver key, which is used for business. For you to release blessing upon people spiritually or blessing in their businesses or to close them down if that's needed. The apostle moves to a higher level and has a very ornate key that's encrusted with jewels.

And that takes a real intense time of training and a far deeper death before God gives you that authority. But once you've got that key, you have the rights to use that authority to command in a whole different realm. But as a believer, you have the name of Jesus.

Now, God has given us power through his Holy Spirit and he's given us authority through the name of Jesus. All you need to do is to speak words in authority. Instead of asking for healing, you should be commanding healing.

The Lord didn't tell his disciples to go and pray for the sick. He told them to go and heal the sick. And that same command comes to us, go and heal the sick.

Well, that takes authority. Instead of asking for provision, you should be commanding provision. The late Kenneth Hagin, Sr. taught this when the Lord showed it to him.

He said every time he went to preach in places, he had to rely on their meager offering that they gave. And the Lord said to him, the money is already here. Satan is trying to hold it back.

He said, you command the money that you need and command Satan to take his hands off it. So he tried an experiment. He specified an amount.

And he said, Father, this is the amount I want when I go to preach at this place. Satan, take your hands off my money. When he went, he told the hosting preacher not to make a big fuss with the offering.

Just say, well, we're taking up an offering for Brother Hagin. Just let it, don't try and pull the people and try and get them to give. When the offering came in, the preacher nearly fell on his back.

He said, our group has never given that much money to a famous preacher yet. How did you get it? By authority. Oh, Lord, I wish you'd just provide.

Satan is holding your money back. Tell him to get his hands off it now. See, now when we pray for money in this world that's being held back, we usually go to the top.

And we look at Pharaoh, who amongst the infernal trio is the God of this world. And he controls the finances and the politics and things like that in this world. So whenever we have to deal with that, we go to the top and we say, Pharaoh, sign the decree and the release.

And release that money, that's mine. Putting my foot on it now. You take your hands off it.

See, using authority in faith. And the power of God's gonna go and move and make things happen. Instead of asking the Lord to give you favor, why don't you command favor? When I go for this job interview, I will have favor in the name of Jesus.

When I'm up for promotion, I will have favor in the name of Jesus. But everybody's always against me. Please, Lord.

No, the power lies in your hands. The authority lies in your hands to command the blessing. So what do you do when you come to pray? It's easy.

Spend all your prayer times praising. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for what you've given me.

Thank you, Lord, for the faith. Thank you for the authority. Thank you for the power of your spirit.

Thank you, Lord, that in you I can rule and reign. Thank you, Lord. I give you glory.

I give you praise. I thank you for providing my needs. I thank you for healing my body.

I thank you for giving me favor wherever I go. Thank you, Jesus. Spend your time worshiping and praising him.

You'll never get frustrated about whether your prayers are answered or not. Because you see, he's already answered them. He already gave you the authority and the power to make it happen.

Oh, you know what? Don't think you could just go out there and command left, right, and center. What you want without knowing that you know. Jesus said, when you stand in front of the mountain and you command it to move, you must believe that it's moving.

See, that takes faith. When you command it to move and you have faith, there's nothing in this world that can stop it. Nothing.

God has put the power in your hands in Christ. That's what Calvary was about. Stop crying out to the Lord and disturbing him.

He's got many other things to do. Really, let's get on with the job. Amen.

Now, I hope I've inspired you today. You know, get practicing it. Get practicing building your faith by spending those times meditating in the word and praying in the spirit.

And then stand that name and say, oh, no, you don't, devil. Oh, no, you don't. Oh, no, you don't.

I'm not going to take this one sitting down. I'm going to reign over this. I'm going to command.

I'm going to use my authority. And you'll be amazed if you use that authority. I've shared this before and I'm going to end with it.

One day I stood before the highest authority in the realm of darkness. Lucifer himself appeared to me. And when I realized who he was, I went cold all over.

And I thought, who am I? A mere, frail, little human being to stand against the prince of darkness himself. But as I stood there, the spirit of God rose up in me. And the Lord brought up out me from within me the words that I'd memorized long ago.

At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. You have the right to stand in the name of Jesus. And I faced the prince of darkness and I said, Satan, the word says, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.

And that includes you. You're a defeated foe. Now I'm standing in that name.

Not only will you bow to Jesus, you're going to bow to me. You're going to bow to Jesus in me. Yes, I had the audacity to say that to Lucifer.

And you know what he did? He glared. He got very angry. His whole countenance changed.

And he stood there and I said, Satan, I said, in the name of Jesus, you're going to bow. And the smile on his face, he started to go down like that. Then he vanished.

I wasn't even fully in ministry at that time. I'd been in ministry, but I was out of ministry. We were living by faith and starving.

Living in a caravan park, bumming off my in-laws. I wouldn't say I was a real giant of faith at that time. I think I just happened to pick a caravan park that was right near wherever the Satanist thing was, which at that time, I believe the headquarters was in Port Elizabeth, and that's where we were.

So somehow I ended up a bit too close to where Satan was working. And I must have upset him with all my prayer times every day. The only reason he appeared to me, not because I was so special.

I think I was causing a ruckus. And he came to offer me whatever I wanted. Money, women, fame, just stuff, all this great stuff.

You need to know who you are, folks. You know, that's why when these little demons come at me. Yeah, little Prince of Kempton Park.

I see them in the spirit sometimes, and they think they're hot shots. And he comes, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I say, hey, you, your boss knows me. Don't tell him.

Don't speak to him. Go and find out. Yeah, you're a small fry.

Really? Really? Don't speak to your boss. He tried tangling with me once and didn't get away with it. I love doing that just for fun.

Don't ever be afraid of any level of demon. I don't care if it's a little principality or Prince of Darkness. They all must bow to the name of Jesus.

But you must know your authority, and you must stand in faith on the word of God, and you must lay it on him. Sometimes it takes a while before they finally obey. It's tough when you've got to fight sickness in your body.

Because you feel the pain, you feel the symptoms, and you feel the fear come into your mind. But if you continue to do it and use that authority and take that authority, I found that Satan cannot keep up his attack. Indefinitely.

Eventually, he has to leave. Now, yes, you can call for somebody to pray with you, or we can stand together in agreement. And the gifts of healing can operate.

And the gifts of faith and God's power can operate. But you know, you've got all of that already in the Holy Spirit who's dwelling within you. It's all there.

Well, I wish I had the gift of healing. He's in you. He's in you.

Just pay him a bit more attention. Because he's sitting there on the side waiting for you to invite him. You're trying to do everything in your own spirit, in your own power.

Just take time to invite him. He's ready and willing. Go out this week and try it out.

Try it out. You'll be amazed what results you'll start to get. You'll kick yourself that you didn't do this years ago already.

But I must warn you, when you first try it, it's going to get worse. Because Satan is going to kick back at you. The sickness will probably get worse.

The fear will increase. So if you're not ready for that, maybe you should build your faith a bit more before you try this. Because there will be a fight.

But the battle's already been won. And when you know it, and he knows it, you'll turn tail and run like the coward that he is. Amen.

Father, I thank you for your word. I thank you for your people, Lord. Each one of them is precious to you.

Each one of them, Lord, have the rights to stand up in your authority and in your name and in your power to set the enemy to flight, to overcome this world. You said in this world we would have tribulation. But you have overcome the world, Lord.

And as we let you live through us, you will overcome it again in and through us. So I pray for each one that are in your presence today. I pray for those that are watching this from a distance now, that you will open the eyes of their understanding to see and know who they are in you, to know the authority that they have in your name, to know the unlimited power that dwells in them by your Holy Spirit, Lord.

And I ask you to cause your people to rise up and to rule and reign in this world in and through you. Oh, Lord, may your church rise up as the mighty warrior that you called it to be. May we vanquish every enemy.

May we set the captives free, Lord. May we bring you the glory that you deserve. I ask it in Jesus' name.
