A Study of The Trinity

The Doctrine of the Trinity is one of the most understood and misinterpreted of the Bible Doctrines. Most people believe that God is a Trinity or three in one, but few understand exactly what the original doctrine of the Trinity teaches. This doctrine is often presented as teaching that there are three God's who function together as one. This is because the concept of God being both one and three is too much for the human mind to comprehend. As a result people have swung in two different directions in trying to explain the Godhead. Some teach that there are three different beings who operate as a team, whilst others swing more to the unity of God and teach that there can only be one person. False doctrines and cults usually swing one way or another, with the Mormons emphasizing the threeness of God and the Jehovah's Witnesses emphasizing the oneness of God. Both get into error by bringing Jesus down to being less than full God. In this study you will come to understand the true Doctrine of the Trinity where Jesus is always considered as fully God.
